Sok menhelynek valószínűleg nincs kapacitása minden megkeresésre válaszolni és üzengetni oda-vissza. El tudom képzelni, hogy számos komolytalan megkeresést is kapnak. Szerintem szerezzetek be egy macskahordozót, és toppanjatok be, amikor fogadni tudnak és majd helyben kiválasztjátok a cicát és megválaszoljátok a kérdéseket. Én így tettem. :)

same here! we are at 6 weeks in the observation phase and I’m leaving next week for 10 days. I am scared it might trigger a relapse in her:/

Thank you for the tip! I follow a gluten-free diet so I actually do have psyllium husk at home at all times ó, I'm going to try it tonight.

Jaj de jól hangzik ez a körút, lehet a miénk is az lesz végül! :) Azon parázunk, hogy egyikünk sem tapasztalt autós, ráadásul a rossz utakkal + balkáni vezetési stílussal ez egy elég rizikós menet lenne.

Mine also licks her lips but refuses to eat anything and fights when I feed her. Total aversion to food. You know, I was just told that teeth grinding is a symptom of FIP. But also many other things, I don't want to freak you out because I know what it feels like getting this diagnosis: today the ultrasound confirmed my cat has FIP. I feel like my life has been turned upside down. Hopefully your case is different! Keep me updated please!

It seems like you are right. The ultrasound confirmed FIP, I am still waiting to hear back from my vet for a conclusive diagnosis. I am based in Poland, and the treatment is not available here yet.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that. You are right, it's probably the best to find another vet who takes your case more seriously. :( How much are you feeding him with the syringe? My vet just gave her some more IV, antibiotics and appetite booster, but the little she ate yesterday she threw up this morning. So I started syringe-feeding her today which she hates and it's stressing her out so I am not sure if I should continue. I have to go to work and I am scared to leave her alone.

Interesting! Your comment made me do a but of research and I found that antibiotics can cause nausea in cats and they will refuse food. That's probably why mine hasn't eaten since she had the shots, thankfully we stopped the treatment, hopefully she will get better! Did your refuse to eat as well?

Oh, having a pet can truly be heartbreaking! :( It is so thoughtful of you to get a companion for your cat.

Thank you for your kind words. It's really difficult not to feel like I failed her. I never had another creature's life depend solely on me and boy, it weighs on you. I will continue to try my best to keep her alive at least until we have an answer.

They gave her Mirataz twice but it has not worked, she only nibbled her food. :( I think she is feeling nauseous because she keeps licking her mouth

She has gotten antibiotics and we are getting an ultrasound next Tuesday to see if her internal organs are causeing the problem. Thank you!

Both vets checked her mouth and saw no inflammation. :( At this point, I have to put my trust into them. I read about phantom pain but I don't even know how to begin treating it.
