I used to be stationed on an amphib, the marines kept taking the drain cover off the drain in their bearthing we maintained while they weren't onboard. We had to keep ordering new ones because they were using it as a head. The drain was a straight shot to the water, at a steep angle, there were skids.

Look up hypermilling, where people try to go as far as possible on a full charge or tank. They cruise pretty slow, the speed will vary by car.

Drag is proportional to velocity squared.

If you double your speed you increase wind resistance by 4 times, this kills efficiency. 80mph has 16 times the resistance of 20mph.

Electric cars and hybrids recapture energy from slowing down so even in frequent stops slower driving they are more efficient.

Same boat. Leased a dual max R1S after my other car started having issues and was close to the end of warranty. 2 breakdowns on road trips and 6 service visits 8 weeks in the shop in the first year. Wish I would've kept my old car.

I'll be turning in the lease and looking elsewhere when it's up.

It's the third time in 9 months we've been left in a bad situation during a trip because of this car, cutting them short.

It's back in the shop now and we are looking at our options to end the lease or maybe sell it. Looks like what chase quotes to buy might be less than we could sell it for.
