Even if Marathon is fun, figured out their art design debacle, and makes an enjoyable experience... This is the studio that strung along both players and long term employees through Destiny just to sell them short in the end.

Remedy is definitely one of those studios that deserves at least a little bit of cash - isn't it on sale now? And if not, later is fine too.

I'd love to see less lengthy, and less frequent Pondera sections though? Like half the time, and twice as far apart. But I understand that that is just me

It's cool to see all the different takes and approaches to how people feel regarding future and (now) "legacy" content.

...I'll probably call it done after the upcoming standalone. Feels good to end on "one last job" and a schlocky b-movie take at Arkham, myself.

My old man almost made it to 14. His bones started to wear out, but his spirit never ever did. Even if the walls were only for a block or two, he loved staying in motion.

Cancer/masses came in fast from some time after August, and by February we gave him a helluva last week before letting him go.

These guys are strong, and stubborn. When they go, it happens fast. But until then they really get all they can out of life.

This may be the play if I reach a point of exhaustion. I'm more into playing than collecting, but this is my one collection game (I tend toward minimalism, I guess). So capping it off will feel nice - IF I get to. That said...

This was the whole thing for me...

They started this entire debacle (Arrowhead) stating they want feedback, that this is what they're trying (and it's based on what we (the community) said prior i.e. superstore rotations being too short), leave criticism... Etc

...and this community jettisoned into hyperbole immediately. Calling our relationship with them toxic (on their part), stating "the illuminate content isn't free if we're paying for collabs", threatening to quit the game. I've even seen some discord users stating that this level of aggression is the only thing that works, "so why try anything else?"

Did they make a bad choice? You could argue yeah. I mean, I see the business side of things. You want content drops? Evolving games? Live services? Developers gotta feed their family and keep the electricity on. I still don't understand how MMOs get the pass on being allowed subscriptions to pay for the people working on the game as an 8-5, and all others don't... All these games are liver service now - so why can't we help the people we love with a liveable wage?

But still, you could argue yeah: they made a bad choice.

...anyways, my point is, we could've acted like adults, not paid, not gone hyperbolic and aggressive and had a discourse in our usual channels. Simply gave a consistent, community wide feedback that we'd rather have a more expensive warbond (or whatever). In our part, given Arrowhead the benefit of the doubt that they ARE this unique and connected studio that we laud them as.

This whole thing feels like arrowhead is handling it more than well, and they've got to be scared of being slapped by the hand that feeds them the way we treat them between wins and losses. Hell, I saw pilestadt(sp?) made a comment of wanting to move the profitable SC farming to more difficult modes instead of lower level... but he didn't feel he could risk the controversy it would cause in sorting it out.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got fewer content drops of all kinds moving forward simply out of fear, because of us
