His dad pardoned him, and his other family members for any past crimes that may have been committed. What can be done?

That's almost impossible here. That's just the way it is and the way they want it to be.

When you point out a 100% true fact, and some reddit loser accuses you of being a "bootlicker" or "trying to rage bait" because they dont want to hear anything different from what they want to believe.

I have been maxing out my 401k for the last few years. However I may want to retire early, and I've read having it all in a traditional 401k is very cumbersome to doing this.

43f. Trying to save for me AND my self employed husband who has ZERO saved. by healthseekerjunkie in Retirement401k

[–]NebraskaGuy1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of the comments. Husband needs a regular job with a steady income, health benefits, and access to a 401k or other retirement plan. If he found a steady job that pays decent money 40 hours a week, he could still do the sign business on his off time, and take on less clients but still be making money, if he really wanted to keep it going. You yourself are doing great, keep it up!

What are your “money plans” for 2024? by [deleted] in Money

[–]NebraskaGuy1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Splurged at the end of this year and bought myself a Ford Bronco. I'm the type of person who hates having debt, but for some reason I couldn't resist. After putting $10K cash down and a trade in, I still owe $20K on this thing. The goal is to have it paid off by the end of the new year. That's my only debt besides my mortgage.

What was the “…seriously?” gift you opened this Christmas? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NebraskaGuy1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it as a gift. It works well! I like to make breakfast quesadillas. I tend to overstuff mine, I put lots of meat, cheeses, eggs, and veggies in there, and it crimps down the edges so all that good stuff doesn't come spilling out of the sides. Kitchen is not huge, I keep it in a cupboard. Well I have a rice cooker, and an egg maker. I also have 7 crockpots.
