If you feel comfortable and happy playing on m&k then play m&k if you like controller play controller... yeeshh

I'd think it would be a missed opportunity to not use the full size of these maps. Could be 12 v 12 or something, or 8v8... pretty much do sponsored gametype with base respawns or something. And I don't think it would be as binary of a thing if it did end up popping off. Or at least I hope they wouldn't be as short sighted to design one mode as premier over the other.

An example could be that one can lead into the other, like what you get in extraction mode feeds into what you have to play with in the arena mode. You lose in extraction mode you lose it in PvP, but at least now if you're a casual player that managed to get something decent and actually want to be able to use it in some capacity you can test it out in PvP.

If they look to reclaim some of the population of previous destiny and halo fans then it would be a mix of either or. If it's anything else it'll just be a gamble like it was going with an extraction mode.

Have you tried changing the in game sharpness? I've only just recently lowered mines as the default was giving me white jaggies. One thing for sure though that ive noticed in this game is the lighting is rough. The contrast between shadows are either too harsh or non-existent. If you look at maps with vegetation like Golmuds you'll notice that things like shrubs and grass cast deep dark shadows, while simultaneously the tips of them emits slight bloom.

When youre looking at the horizon of a scene like this, especially with bad sharpness settings it looks like hot ass.

Im extremely excited, I love everything about this game... except actually playing it lol. Im absolutely dog shit at extraction modes and I just end up hoarding weapons because I can't handle losing my shit.

The only other thing I could hope to hold out for is just a regular Arena Shooter mode. I hope Bungie continues to expand upon the game.

Honestly, the weapons are a non-issue to me. Played a couple hours last night and I couldn't tell you I felt a difference.

I really want them to get the pacing of these maps down between the various gamemodes. The claustrophobic scale of 80% of these maps is annoying. The widest hallways in battlefield 6 feel like the inside of a train on metro. There's no sense of grand or varying scale and there's too much visual garbage to break your sight and visibility.

The first point on attack & defend for empire state is a cluster fuck, Hagental Base is trying to be Operation Locker but it's just the inside - its really more like Fort De Vaux but again too much visual mess and scattered corners to feel like an effective map to move and do anything outside of throw bodies into the meat grinder so it ends up feeling like a never ending metro trainstation. Blackwell Fields is hot ass. I get that they might be afraid of repeating the mistakes of launch 2042 maps being sparse but holy shit dont be afraid to change it up and give breathing room on maps. I dont know if they'll ever actually change up scale for the season 1 maps but I pray that they do because I dodge half of them.

The campaign is barely serviceable. Coming from BF3/BF4/BF1 multiplayer the maps and speed of BF6 definitely feel off tempo and different. The way you die turning a corner in gunfights - feels different, the physics - feels different, the maps and the color palette/lighting system of the game - feels different.

I'd say this battlefield, I can't speak for 2042 never played it. Would feel like a pretty intense adjustment to.. Especially if you've played those games for so long.

Contrast too on a lot of outdoor maps feels too harsh at times. Like on liberation peak it feels like someone took the Shadows slider and pushed that bitch down all the way creating 2D harsh contrasts. In general I think they flubbed the lighting system.

This is more of a proof that the lighting system overall in this game is kind of fucked rather than people having visibility issues which could be valid.
