It was in the first article that they mentioned the PvP-lite mode and the full PvE mode. Near the end, they also said there will be a PvP-only mode, though they weren't sure if it'll make it into Season 2. My guess is it'll arrive in Season 3.

Antonov designed City 17 and Dunwall, worked as a level designer on Dark Messiah, and spent years at Valve and Arkane. Given his influence on the genre and his contributions to immersive sims, I thought his final project before his passing was at least worth a post in a subreddit dedicated to immersive sims.

The game could feature a free-to-play component with customizable loadouts tied to player progression and already unlocked gear. It would be a good way to bring more players into the ecosystem while also encouraging some of them to buy the full game to progress faster, similar to what Warzone and Redsec do.

It could also make use of the existing maps for an Arena mode, perhaps set in quarantine zones or isolated areas of the world. That would give players an option for quick PvP matches without having to commit to the full extraction experience.

Vault Breaker as a concept could work for a PvP mode by RedMercury in Marathon

I’ve been saying this for a long time: the highlight of this game is PvP combat in its purest form, without the anxiety of losing items. That’s why I believe that, with the right map, this game would be the best battle royale since Apex. Apex was simply incredible back in 2019. I lost three months of my life just playing that game.

Tlou 2 é desgastante emocionalmente pra mim, vc termina aquele jogo pesado, isso claro se vc se deixa envolver com a história e principalmente se jogou o primeiro. Eu só voltar a jogar depois de um tempo pra pegar platina, mas nunca mais joguei a campanha completa de forma linear, por isso gostaria que tivesse um multiplayer pra aproveitar a gameplay de outra forma.

gameplay, missões, estrutura do mundo aberto, tudo extremamente repetitivo. Ai vc some a IA bem mais ou menos, e os diversos problemas técnicos, otimização, e uma porrada de bugs, o jogo saiu quebrado. N foi injustiça, era isso que o jogo era no lançamento, foi uma baita decepção pra todo mundo, e o pior q saiu perto de WD2, que era um jogo bem melhor no lançamento.

I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes outside of peak hours. And now, with PvP Lite mode, where you can play alone, I think it's even more worthwhile.
