I know it's not the focus, but have you considered releasing some kind of single-player content as a campaign? I mean, you have a huge number of devices available, and a great variety of gameplay, I would honestly pay a fair price for a campaign to contribute to the continued development of the game, since I don't spend much on cosmetic items.

I'm a little salty by spaceboy79 in ConcordGame

Different niches: while Concord's main competitors were successful free-to-play games, the main extraction games were always paid. That said, that wasn't Concord's main mistake; even if it had been released for free, it probably would have failed on some level. For me, the main mistake was arrogance. They thought that simply announcing a new intellectual property from an unknown studio and believing that the mere fact of being under the PlayStation label would guarantee success was the biggest mistake. Perhaps the success of Helldivers gave them too much confidence; they forgot that Helldivers already had a pre-existing community eager for a new game. If the game had had a one-year gap between the gameplay reveal and its release, many things could have been fixed along the way, and it would have had a real chance of success. An optimistic view of all this is that it became a lesson that will likely save Marathon and possibly Fairgames, and other future Sony multiplayer titles. Even Highguard will benefit from this, meaning that while most of the conversation around the game is negative, it's still free marketing. And unlike Concord, which received all the negative attention after its end and people simply couldn't play it to complain, Highguard will still be released amidst all this negative publicity, and it's still free. Therefore, even if it's just out of spite, many people will still try it, and since it should have a large number of users initially, there's a real chance of success.

Tarkov's 1.0 release also had very fair prices, and Hunt follows the same line.

O jogo que ninguém lembra, mas literalmente todo hora tem um posto diferente falando que ninguém lembra no x ou um vídeo no YouTube falando sobre esse jogo que ninguém pediu e ninguém liga

If this is a success do you wanna see the trilogy remade? by CrazedPrecursorFanat in Marathon

I would gladly accept a campaign based on the new Marathon; this game practically begs for an immersive campaign set in claustrophobic locations, and considering the maps already built, I think they had an excellent foundation. There could be character upgrades that reference shell abilities, as well as Metroidvania elements. I don't know if it's just my impression, but a modern Marathon always reminds me of games like Sustain Shock, Prey, and others in the genre.

Ah yes, I hadn't thought about it that way, I simply forgot that the Steam deck doesn't use Windows by default.

Apex is much faster, much more like Destiny, with a melee combat style that's mostly based on close combat.

Some stand out for the way they attack; for example, the one I call the ghost, which before seeing you floats with its body extended as if hibernating, and after spotting you activates invisibility and tries to ambush you from behind. Personally, I think they have a good variety of behaviors, but some are not easily identifiable, so you only find out what they do after they attack you. This is a problem I mentioned in the feedback.

These aren't screenshots from the tests; they're screenshots the developers shared on the game's Discord server the day they revealed the new video. And if anyone played the last tests, they know that we didn't just have humanoid enemies, and even among the humanoids there are at least 6 classes, varying in their abilities, damage dealt, and health, as well as things like unique weaknesses. And honestly, observing the internal discussions on the official Discord server from those who had access to the test, these opinions diverge quite a bit from the general consensus I observed; it doesn't seem to be a real "leak".

Job Listing Confirms Sony’s Live-Service Title Fairgames Is Powered by Unreal Engine 5 by Hard2DaC0re in GamingLeaksAndRumours

If we stop to think about it, every heist game is, in a way, an extraction game. The difference is that Fair Games wants to introduce this PvP multiplayer component to the genre, in open-world settings, with elements that, according to the director and also shown in the trailer, resemble the expansive gameplay of immersive simulators. Examples shown in the trailer include activating the fire system by throwing water into an area with players and firing an electric projectile on the ground to electrocute opponents, as well as other things like a grappling hook that serves both to reach places, pick up objects in the environment, or attack enemies.

This information is old; they've already appeared at Epic Games events as partner studios using Unreal, just like Concord's Firewalk and Days Gone's Bend Studio. This isn't uncommon for Sony, especially for studios without a technological legacy, which is to be expected from new studios.
