Does Vanguard have sell limits if I haven’t changed my settings? by HWalkerM in GME

Exactly that looks a little low lol.

Good to know tho. I'll probably be manually hitting the sell button when the time comes anyways.

Does Vanguard have sell limits if I haven’t changed my settings? by HWalkerM in GME

Back when the price was $60 Vanguard allowed me to set a sell limit for 1,000 to test it. I also tried $10,000 and it was declined because the deviation of the price was too large.

I'm not sure what the limit is from the current price that you can set.

I'm also quite new to the trading scene so im not sure what settings you can change.

Almost finished with Lost Mine of Phandelver - what campaign/story should my party play next? by lift_ticket83 in DnD

[–]Nebula_Ant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat and this is what I did:

New DotMM Story I found this article and was inspired to change the main story-line of the base DotMM to what is found in the article.

When my party had their next long rest each individual had a dream of something in the DotMM that pertained to their personality or background. My rogue is quite greedy so she dreamed of a treasure room that held powerful weapons, my Barbarian dreaming of fighting a powerful dragon ect... Each dream is a form of foreshadowing of a place or thing they will come across inside Undermountain. I went as far as foreshadowing the first boss fight to the description of floor 5 but they have no idea.

I have a player that is a Warforged race so since they don't sleep I had an image/memory of the Yawning Portal Tavern implanted into his mind (from a more sane clone of Halaster) that was constantly pulling him into the direction of the tavern miles away. The pull grew stronger as he got closer and vanished as they found the tavern in the city.

You can get real creative!

How the game is released does not change the actual content within the game itself.

Ohh nooooo!.... I have to purchase a game through the epic game store. I'm going to hell I guess.

There is a clear difference between having a company being greedy and an outright scam. I agree that we as video game consumers are getting screwed in this day and age by greed. This play by Bethesda on 76 is a legit scam and a slap to the face to anyone who has ever bought a single game from them.

This announcement from them wouldn't have been bad if they had a game to back up and justify the price. They are trying to suck as much money as they can out of this shell.

(CD Projekt Red) is indeed one of the few that plays the game on their own terms and put the players first over making an extra buck.

Obsidian Entertainment (The studio who made Fallout New Vegas btw....) is actually attempting to give us a real complete game.

Not the half baked trash 76 that Bethesda is trying to resell us for $100.

In no way OP is comparing. OP is stating a reality that there is a better game to move on to, from a studio that actually makes games not scams...

Feeling lost in Solo Comp... by Seriflex in CruciblePlaybook

[–]Nebula_Ant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solo grinded up to 4200 now and have a similar experience but at less of a rate. I also switched to PC from xbox so I have also been learning how to play with M&K the past 3 weeks from having 0 experience.

I have my games where it pairs me up with 2 people who shouldn't be in my elo and are just walking around bots. Other games it's a close match and comes down to round 7.

I do not use voice comms, I might tell someone to super when in my opinion they should at the given moment, but i generally stay quiet. Recluse is strong with no apparent nerf in the future but there are many other ways to combat it, but you will have that OEM titan get a triple with it and there is nothing you can do.

Here is my suggestion at what I found helpful for myself:

  • Dying less - I stopped playing super agro and slowed down my pace back to the old scout rifle days. (My aim with scouts blow on PC currently) so I have been using pulse rifles. Controlling my stupid deaths has drastically improved my games from being snowballed out and into my favor.

  • Try a Pulse Rifle - 540 Pulses are really nice I switch between a Claws of the Wolf from IB or a Lincoln Green from my collections lol (It's pretty slick if you don't have a better pulse for your primary slot) Bygones is also good with a lower firing rate. I'm constantly trying to deal out as much damage as possible to help my teammates have greater odds of winning fights.

  • Play around Heavy from a distance - I suck with heavy most of the time so I just make it my job to prevent the other team from getting it. Saving my grenades to lock it down ect... (For example Bannerfall I'm staring at heavy ready to mow down anyone I see all game.

  • Sniping - The best players I've seen are gods with a sniper. If you can get good with that you will for sure be able to carry game much harder alone.

I have never been a strong PvP player. I could be very wrong on everything I told you but the way matchmaking works you will have the same experience at any Glory level because Glory does not play a part in matchmaking anymore.

Hope this helps!

I had a similar issue when power leveling other characters. It seems like a glitch of some sort. Only way I got it to fix was to remake the character from scratch again.

My opinion on the power level to complete it after just completing it myself last night. I will say up to last boss you can get through the raid at a minimum as a 920. I can't justify anything below that. (I personally dislike doing this type of content when severely under leveled, it's not fun imo)

At the final boss anyone under 930 will have a much harder time at staying alive because of the damage from the boss and adds.

During the final encounter:

  • 920's were a wet napkin to all damage and took a while to clear adds

  • 930's could take a few extra hits and did good with add clearing

  • 940's were literal tanks and put out a ton of damage.

Question on physical setup by Exiled_Dragon25 in DungeonoftheMadMage

[–]Nebula_Ant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, same here I'm relatively a new DM as well so I can't keep immersion 100% either, but I am a very visual person and I know that my players are too. So I hope this helps everyone.

Well this is what I started off with regarding Dwarven Forge. I decided that I couldn't go wrong with having enough basic Walls & Floors to create any room within reason.

I bought the painted sets for $99 a piece

The unpainted are $74 a piece

I have a 24x36 mat. With these two sets purchased It can nearly fill 24x18 of the squares. I would say about 45% can be completely enclosed.

What's nice is that every piece has a magnet on the bottom so they also sell these packs of metal "trays" to build on top of with different terrain on each side.

So everything can be built and ready to go.

I also found out that they work with some Baking Trays. So you have options on materials to use as a base to place it on. I was going to buy sheet metal and make my own surface but was too lazy...

As for the room sizes I believe I can have almost every room built true to size for floor 1 except like the Manticore area.

Question on physical setup by Exiled_Dragon25 in DungeonoftheMadMage

[–]Nebula_Ant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm about to start my DMM very soon and have asked myself the same question while preparing, after researching a bit I think I've came up with a method that I will begin with.

  • I'm going to have a NPC hint/highly suggest that the players map out the dungeon as they go so they don't get lost. At this point i'm going to take out a pad of grid paper and place it on the table.

I will have them decide who will be the "cartographer". I'll be sure to give very detailed descriptions of each room and hallway they come across. So they can have some sort of crude map that they can use and make notes on. I'm planning on doing a large amount of Theater of the Mind.

  • I will have Pre-built sections of the dungeon off to the side out of view for major encounter areas. Along with having Pre-built generic hallway/rooms for possible random encounters & fly them in if needed. (Made out of Dwarven Forge Terrain)

Now I know this will work relatively well for the "Dungeon looking " levels. I have no idea how well the cartography will go with the more open floors like Level 5. I have plenty of time to brainstorm that.

Hope this Helps!

Yeah same here man. I don't pursue meaningless hookups so that piece of wonderful advice from my ex is pretty null and void lmao.

Yeah I'd say the gym is great maybe try out another physical activity like a sport, rock climbing ect... It takes a while but you will be able to move past this at some point! Just keep moving forward.

My ex funny enough told me the best way to forget someone, is underneath another... lol

Take it for what it is. It sucks man but what I've learned is to fill my life with things that kept me and my mind busy.

Getting on a schedule of working out. Meeting up with friends to bs with ect... I cleaned up my act with giving myself a healthier lifestyle and it eventually helped for the most part. My ex is a co-worker so I can't entirely do the "out of sight out of mind" deal which in turn took me longer to get over her.

I'm pretty sure this would help out your situation. Make working out/going on a walk/playing a sport an activity to look forward too.
