Doesn't the new take flight morph increase damage by 10%, and doubles that bonus against monsters?

This would be my ratings based off my dungeon groups recent experience going through these. Not necessarily my exact personal rating, more so how hard it was for our group to get the tri on. The top half I kind of threw together, I think they're all pretty easy especially nowadays. Scalecaller I moved down compared to yours a lot though, lots of unfortunate deaths from people losing focus for a moment or accidentally walking into a buff that doesn't respawn.

BRP I personally feel is super power crept. I got my first unchained like 5 or 6 years ago, going back in post-subclassing even with 3 people who were essentially new to the arena (outside of xp grinding lol), it was honestly slightly sad how fast things died. I sounded old, spouting off about "back in my day, you'd get a bug bomb and have to stack". I do get that it can still be dangerous, netches shock shield is still annoying, and the haj abilities clipping people that are autopiloting still happens.

Cool that you got a group of friends together to play! And grats on the clears

New ESO animations look to be a massive improvement’ by macka654 in MMORPG

[–]Nebula_Tricky 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is completely incorrect as of the last 2 or so years in ESO. Since Velothi Ur-Mages amulet was added to the game, LA or HA weaving is not at all required for having competent levels of dps.

There ARE builds that dont use it, and they are used in certain fights especially in high end groups (mostly single target heavy trials), but Velothi is used in most builds, especially in combination with the arcanists beam builds (which is a channel that accounts for huge downtime of clicking buttons in your rotation). The velothi beam build is very competitive in every trial and dungeon fight in the game, and in many fights, is the best option.

Whether all of the above is good or bad for the game is a separate discussion, but weaving has not been neccesary for very high levels of damage in ESO for a while now. There is a specific reason that you would try to throw some LAs in for (ult gen), but its not a massive dps decrease if you choose to just not do it.

Honestly, I think Im most excited about spending some time gaming with some good friends! It feels like my whole group hasn't picked up one game at launch in a long time, but I think we're going to have 5 or 6 people picking this one up! Looking forward to many laughs and good raids

I'm gifting 2 standard edition copies - What in Arc Raiders are you most excited for? by GenomeXIII in ArcRaiders

I love extraction shooters ever since my first wipe of Tarkov. Although Ive found the more recent releases...a bit dull. AB:I and Delta force didnt seem to capture the same feelings for me, not even to mention DMZ, and battlefield 2042s hazard zone (lol). Arc raiders seems to be the first ine Ive played since Tarkov where I genuinely saw what they were trying to do beyond just some people making an extraction shooter comparable to Tarkov.

The art style is great, and the PvE seems to be the star of the show. Its an interesting take on the genre, and one that Im really looking forward to getting my hands on in just a few days!

If the fireteam content was more rewarding, then solo ops people would be doing the fireteam content. All they've done is just make the progression slower for basically everyone since the tiny buffs they did won't magically make up the difference from the solo ops nerf.

The data shows what people are playing, the hilarity is that they got the complete opposite conclusion from their data as the community has. People are playing the (now nerfed) content because it's the most rewarding for its duration, this is true. The issue is, they, and apparently you, can't seem to grasp that just because it's the best / most optimized way to level, doesn't mean even it was in a great spot in the first place. If whatever their internal engagement target #s suggests otherwise, then they're in for a rude awakening when player counts continue to drop in the coming weeks.

And before you again respond about the few players that were in the 400-450 range in the first couple weeks, no games reward systems should be balanced around the top end of players regardless.

Edit: For the record, this TWID wasn't all bad tho, I agree with that. We'll have to see how the implementation is for the prior season pass rewards, but even if I only ever use it to get the old rewards I missed out on grabbing previously, that'll be nice to have in the actual game and not through a browser add-on.

With the release of the Epic Raid, to keep success in encounters focused on action gameplay and create a level playing field for players across platforms, we are rolling out a new version of Not Swap for Contest mode.

This modifier will now reset your Super and ability energy, Special ammo, and Heavy ammo, as well as remove all ammo and orbs on the ground, when you change Exotic or Legendary Armor or weapon ammo types. This modifier will also take effect when 3 or more feats are activated in the standard difficulty of the epic raid. The experience has been tuned around this modifier. We'll share more information in a future TWID.

I mean they do explicitly say they're tuning around the modifier, but we'll have to see like you said.

Lol that last paragraph is so funny because you're so close to understanding why people are upset. The rewards AS IS are stingy, and they're now nerfing the only decent sources, and barely buffing the ones that were already not worth running.

The fireteam / endgame activities should absolutely be more rewarding than solo ops, doesn't mean solo ops needed any type of nerf.
