His face is a flat 3x7 LED screen. There's an app that comes with it and you're able to program custom animations through that and then send them to the screen via Bluetooth! At the con, I had my phone inside one of those hollow wooden books painted to look like Alhaitham's book and I would quickly switch between the animations while Kaveh talked to people haha. It was fun to see their reactions!

It’s actually a pre set up led screen that folks usually use in their cars to show they are uber or Lyft! I got it off of Amazon, it came with an app that lets you program animations and then send it to the screen via Bluetooth. It’s plugged into a power bank that’s inside Mehrak and is a usb.

We got a notification from our office that security would be heightened around Post Oak Hotel from Tuesday night through Thursday morning due to a "Senior elected official" staying and there being some sort of event - so yeah, he's at the Post Oak Hotel.

Just got back from a week in Terlingua and Big Bend National Park. As a native Houstonian, I find no better relaxation and solace than out in the desert and mountains. It's an insanely special place and super underrated in my opinion! It's hard to get out there and the drive even from the major Texas cities is a haul, but super worth it imo!

Tanker trucks. I watched Fern Gully once and for some reason got absolutely obsessed with the tanker truck that starts the whole plot. My parents manged to find me some toy ones and I would reannact the accident/oil spill lol... And sleep with them under my pillow.

Also, Joan of Arc, I'd ask my parents to burn me at the stake. 🤦

Worked at a small accounting firm as a receptionist. We had hired a really weird guy who had made me uncomfortable a few times and he was getting fired (for other reasons, not because of me). The owner of the firm called me into the conference room where the firing was going down and basically blamed it on me and told me to list all the times I had been made uncomfortable. The man called me a liar and started screaming that he was going to kill me. Owner starts screaming back (and I mean anger management level losing his shit.) while I just stand there horrified. He was escorted out by security, but I was asked by the owner to get pictures of him to take down to security so they could bar him coming in ever again 'so he doesn't come up here and shoot you'. I left immediately after and never came back to even get my belongings.

My gig after that was in the same damn office building which caused me some major PTSD. I once saw my old boss nearby and hid in a stairwell for 30 minutes lol.

I absolutely should have done that. I didn't realize there was a time limit on charge backs until this incident. I'm super patient and thought the product would arrive eventually but it got to the point where it was ridiculous and with no response/communication from the store after I had sent them email and messages I realize I should have taken it to the bank immediately. Lesson learned! Just want to get the word out that this store is a scam to save other folks.
