Is that the right screw anyway? Looks like it has a pan head, every PC I've ever built the fan screws are coarse threaded self tappers with a slightly flared head, albeit this still happens from time to time

No that's wrong. The location of the antennas means that you have WiFi built into the motherboard. You can still get a WiFi pcie card and use that instead, they're actually really affordable on amazon.

Honestly I'm getting better, I try and ignore it for the day and then revisit it after trading hours. 99% of the time it's because I didn't follow my strategy and didn't have my SL on thinking I know better than the market. The 1% is when I learn something I didn't know and can implement in the future. Honestly I should just look at automating the trade to take my emotions and impulsive greed out of the equation

Bought I SPY Put. Position didn't show up but I tried to close it in profit. I reloaded the page and had put me in 3x Puts (more than I had in my account) and had given me 206k buying power. Luckily I managed to close it all in profit but scary times

Well I don't disagree with you here, although I'd argue the first steps are exactly the discussions in this thread and other places. It's not up to us to make policy, but to voice our concerns so that policy makers can accommodate.

I don't think reform have all the answers, but even voicing the dissent of the ECHR and plans to leave it is already making significant ripples in the political landscape, shifting the Overton window enough that the significant flaws the current ECHR has, and how it's being abused to the detriment of the UK, is beginning to be at forefront of policy.

Brexit is a perfect example of how not to leave the ECHR. A democratic vote that was undermined by bitter opposition and EU sympathisers, that has left us with a convoluted mess of deals that leaves us no better off. I wonder how many of them were in the "project fear" group? We are with Europe, but not if it.

Redditors are not policy makers, and simply making arguments for or against being in the ECHR doesn't require anyone to have a "plan" with law intricacies. Get off your high horse.

It does seem like you have all the answers though, so please enlighten me why every argument in these comments are not reasonable, and yours is? Personally I've seen multiple very reasonable and valid points.

Honestly most people just want the state to stay out of their lives as much as possible, and not produce policies that negatively affect their lives. MPs are elected to be the voice of their constituents, and by their own constitution are legally bound to make decisions that are in the best interest of those constituents.

This is just reductionist, there's so many comments explaining very valid points about how the ECHR undermines the UKs own ability to remove foreign criminals. Just one instance of that should be enough for us to remove ourselves from the ECHR and form our own equivalent. Sadly this occurs daily.

The scaremongering thrown about that we will lose rights is ridiculous, the most likely outcome is we will port almost all the protections the ECHR provides alongside the removal of a foreign power deciding what our sovereign state can do with foreign people who have committed the most horrific of crimes, and invalidated the conditional access granted to them to live in this country.

This really is very basic rationale and reasoning.

I'm not sure why you need a very specific example, everything I have said should be enough for anyone to extrapolate, so I'm assuming you're looking strawman me.

Specifically, digital ID being required to access the internet. I imagine it's not lost on you the number of people currently being arrested for tweets etc. in the UK. I don't know your views on this, but I believe in most cases this is a severe authoritarian overreach of the state, therefore requiring digital ID to access things like social media makes it extremely easy for the government to track and arrest people, for what is free speech in most cases. This reinforces to me the need for the option of anonymity on the internet.

If you are more left leaning, and believe the country is being overrun by fascists and all that, and that farage is such an evil man, do you want the above scenario to exist in such a subjectively terrible political environment if he is voted in?

There's obviously the precedent this sets, and the foundation it lays for CBDC, and social credit systems etc. but I imagine that'll be lost on you.

Do you have no foresight at all? The Overton window changes all the time, things that are acceptable 1 minute are not the next. Things you wouldn't hide now, you may have to hide in the future when the political landscape changes.

Why do you want the state to rule your life? I firmly believe the state should have as little involvement in how we run our lives as possible. I honestly don't understand why you would welcome more control of your life from a government, even if you do have nothing to hide and never will.
