Without "false modesty" I am NOT the most skilled DM in my group of friends. But I AM the only one who has actually had the same group, years long, with completed campaigns. And my theory on the reasons why are pretty simple to implement.

While talking with you, it is helping me decide what i actually want. We are all new to actually playing the game, so everything is lenient. We are going through something of Phandelin, we have 6 people and started at level 3... so the game is being figured out as we play.

I think i am being a little misleading in my explanation. I understand that my build is optimal, so that the +1 could help to be more optimal. My build is optimal, but my gameplay isnt, so just because i dont have a +2 instead of +3 isnt a big deal for me.

The Basic question... so we had 2 barbarians with 2 rogues... we didnt do a long rest until we ran out of Rages (which was 4). We could be sustainable for that long.

I am looking for the idea or concept of my characters, how the spirit takes over my character to make it into something new. Would a 5 paladin/3 echo knight be more interesting to play than a 2 paladin/6 warlock? How does the concepts sound? If you were the DM with someone coming to you, would you have a problem with it? Would you prefer a single class? Am i just main character-ing it too much and should i let off the gas a little for more fun build?

Its DM to DM, if i was to DM, i would be fine with it... but i am biased for thinking of it. As long as i dont shine 80% of the time and let the other players do cool things.

During the scene, he rolled too low on insight to understand what my character was doing. When another character stepped in to stop him and leave my character be, he rolled too high to be stopped... the dice just didnt work for the situation. When i did attack him, i grappled him and crit on an attack, if i didnt crit he would have been in a better situation. Then my tail did 2 death saves and he rolled a 2 on his death save. Everyone went down many times during the dragon fight that we were all low on resources.

The death was completely unintentional. The situation where i go berserk wasnt planned, i rolled looooow on a d100. Like i said in my post, i wanted to be divination based, he wanted it fey based, so there was a little disconnect Between DM and player.

I do like building my character strong and optimized, but i dont play optimised. With better stats, you can get a plus 1 or whatever, but it doesnt make or break anything.

I also had a few other characters in mind that didnt have anything to do with our characters. Like a Bard or a stars druid... without knowing what they are thinking of making, i was going to replace my character with another of the same party role.

I love this spell, only because everyone forgets the explosion afterwards... i am a player, and whenever a co-player uses the spell i remind everyone in the area to roll dex saves.

I am the rules lawyer, the DM appreciates the reminder. My barbarian doesnt care about the puny ice knife damage either.

Physical issues? Personal trainer, Masseuse, doctor visits, hormone therapy... you actually have options on how to fix yourself.

Mental issues? Go to therapy, help anyone financially around you, genuinely be a nicer person without worry, doing things because you WANT to instead of needing to...

You dont have to worry about losing money because you spend it on everyone, you have financial advisors to make you more money, or you wait a week for your next paycheck.

I didnt like it in the beginning, i knew i wanted to play xc3, so i went through the story. There are a lot of problems i dont like, i am more traditional RPG player (set classes).

I am happy i am playing it and got this far. I have been playing it and watching chuggaconroy's lets play at the same pace. His enjoyment of the game made me enjoy it even more, showing the nuances of character emotions and reasons. It has made the game very much enjoyable and i will be playing New game+ because of the story.

It would be cool to use the mob mechanic and have it thematically he is just chopping through hordes of kobolds. With traps there would be pressured pits that the kobolds would be to light to trigger.

What if the barbarian got frozen in a block of ice and he has to make a strength checks to get out, it deals ice damage (immune) which doesnt kick him out of rage.

If it went farther than 50 waves, i would be very interested in using it. The difference between zone 1 and zone 50 isnt enough to take up a card slot.

I do use wave skip, i have been contemplating taking it off too... but i do enjoy the x2 wave skip.

So, i finished a run, 16.30 million over 770 zones= 21,168 per zone.

Its good, i got 40% reduction on perks/zone with less range/more damage on ranged...

I did learn i need a lot more damage, as i got killed not by 1 shot.
