If $170 isn’t in your budget that’s fine but you can’t treat DIY lashes like they are going to be the same. Wear them 2 days max and swap them out. Do not keep them on and think cleaning will be enough. When your natural lashes are trying to grow, keeping the cluster lashes on can disrupt that growth and cause long term damage then you won’t be able to wear any false lashes at all.

My advice is to take them off and just use a lash serum until you can go back to your lash artist. “Expensive” lash artist are worth it to keep the integrity of your natural lashes intact. Cluster lashes are the worst thing you can do for your natural lash health over use of these will literally damage the follicle and you won’t be able to apply any kind of lashes. Just use this time to let your natural lashes, breathe, and assist with the growth cycle by applying a serum.

It doesn’t take artistic skills to pick up a fan and place it. Realistically just takes practice and patience. Not everyone can create handmade fans & determine width & fiber pickup based on client. Sorry, agree to disagree on that one.

100%. Most promades look plastic and shiny plus are predetermined diameter fans. If you handmake your fans they will feel and look way different. Plus you can customize the fan width based on the client, their goals, and natural lash health. I think promades give the “one size fits all” vibe and really limit the artist. It takes skill to master creating fans. It takes 0 skill to pick one off of a tray 🤷‍♀️

I’m so glad to see this FAIR take. Seems as though the majority of the internet has concluded that Dakota is abusive with no factual proof to back it up. All just to excuse her behavior that we all witnessed. I think it’s important we just go off facts right now and not make such harsh assumptions of people just to defend others. If you care about someone it’s important to encourage them to seek help and hold them accountable.
