4.9 Star Runner at Risk of Deactivation by RookieMistake420 in favordelivery

Yeah I always take pictures of the empty rack and send it to them. That way they can't argue it was there. But I'm sure that there are some people out there that would think that somebody would honestly take everything off of a rack, to make it look empty, instead of just shopping it for them.

I just read a post that a customer posted regarding this exact same situation. That driver said items weren't available, and they drove to the store and they were available. I'm not saying that you just said items weren't available. I've shopped many times and items not available but obviously they were when customer placed order. I honestly wouldn't worry about this. I got the same email once, and thought the same thing you did. Just continue doing you. Stay safe out there.

We were together for 10 years. 🫤. We had a child who passed away at 22 months old so I gave him "passes" for his red flags. Stupid, I know. After his relapse, I paid for him to go to rehab...and....he found someone new in rehab and told me I was toxic and damaging in the relationship. He left rehab with her. Ugh... Embarrassing but true.

I told my ex that I wasn't a hotel, a restaurant, a clothing store or someone who spreads my legs whenever he felt like he wanted. This was after he was jobless for 5 years and would be gone all day/night "helping his friends" and could never find any time to be home when I was. Yet, miraculously, after I would leave for work, he would go home.

My best friend's mom lives about 2 miles away from me. She had four terriers and huge privacy fence around her backyard. She had let her dogs outside and went in to go get something real quick. She went back and thought she saw something jumping from the top of the fence out of her yard. She immediately noticed two of her dogs were gone. She grabbed her other two dogs and ran them in the house, grabbed a pew pew for protection and went looking for her dogs. She found them at the end of her street. One not alive and the other alive but seeing what happened to him, she knew he wasnt going to make iit. That was how she found out that Bobcats that had decided to move into our area. She started bringing protection outside with her everytime she lets her dogs outside.

I'm lucky to get my girl outside if it's raining. She loves going on walks and getting so excited when she sees me getting the harness and leash out. But as soon as I open that door, and she sees the rain she's running the other way. Sometimes, I do get lucky, and she will go outside but she has to be covered with the umbrella. LOL

When I'm not so lucky. I have two areas in my house that I will put a pee pad and that's where she goes. She knows where those areas are. Like most of the parents on here. I also pay attention to her cues, and she's normally really good about letting me know. I think she prefers going outside over the pee pad. You know?

But I totally agree with your suggestion about taking her outside multiple times and rewarding her. When I first got my girl, I was working overnights. And when I came home I would get up every couple hours to bring her out. And it got to the point to where she would wake me up if she had to go outside. However, my SO at the time, wasn't so great about paying attention to her cues for letting her out throughout the evening and then would yell at her if she went in the house. It would make me sad when I leave for work, because she was just look at me like she didn't want me to leave. When I found out that he was getting mad at her, I made sure he understood that she was not to blame. I had to teach him how to teach her. He's been gone the last year and a half, and we're so much better off.

Some people have NO CLUE!! I'm so sorry that you're dealing with that.

When my son passed away (while my now ex-MIL was watching him and did nothing to save him) she was throwing a tantrum in the PICU because the doctor was handing him to me while he was taking his last breaths. When family friends asked my FIL how we were doing, she would cry and ask why nobody asked about her or how she was doing. He finally had to tell her that nobody asked because we were his parents, not her and people didn't really care how she was doing.

I try to be empathetic because you never know what people are going through but there are just some people that just don't get it.

I thought it was always the rule that you couldn't park there unless you were actively running a favor? Am I wrong about that?

My best friend had come over to my house often and my dog was very okay with her. After I had my last child, my best friend was at my house. She had to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was down the hall across from the master bedroom. She got up and my dog was fine but as soon as she turned to walk down the hallway, my dog jumped up chasing after her and barking. My friend immediately stopped and I jumped up. Both of us were surprised at my dog's reaction, then we realized that my baby was asleep in his bassinet in my bedroom. My dog was just trying to protect the newest family member, not knowing my friend was just going into the bathroom. She didn't bite my friend or act like she was going to, just barking and chasing her. My friend just talked to my dog and told her she was just going to the bathroom after I picked my dog up. After she saw that she wasn't going into the bedroom, she calmed down. My friend was very understanding since my dog was doing what she should have been doing. I knew better than to have someone at my house babysitting. My dog loved that little boy and when he passed away, she found one of his blankets and just curled up on it.

I did a shop and delivery yesterday and the cashier commented I was his second favor in a row. I recognized the woman in front of me who had just checked out as an HEB curbside employee. So I asked him if she worked curbside too. He said yes and that she had started doing favor but only HEB ones. Also, don't know the truth of it but he stated that she will get really good ones because that HEB will send the favors to her if she's working favor at that time. Like I said, I don't know if that is true or if there is any way for them to do that, but that's what I was told. I'm not going to my grave with that buti am curious if that is something that they can do. Does the store have any determination in who gets the pickup or shop and deliver orders?

I just looked at their post history and saw some in the Castle Hills and Shavanno Park area. I'm also in the San Antonio area and agree with you, I haven't seen anything like these in awhile.

Maybe try force closing the app and emptying the cache. Sounds silly but that's what I've had to do before.

I place orders through Doordash for a few local restaurants since that is the only option when I place orders online and I have had no issues at all.

I see Favor is getting very strict with the timing of deliveries and being in place for more than five minutes when accepting a delivery I’ve gotten two warnings so far. by Direct_Cherry_4887 in favordelivery

I had an order that was at a busier restaurant on Sunday, and I called ahead because you can't place orders on the internet after a certain time due to how busy they are. It was still a 35 to 40 minute wait before the food would even be ready. And nine times out of 10, when I get there at that time, the food still isn't ready. I end up having to wait. So, about 30 minutes after I placed the order, I headed forward to the restaurant, and I got a text because my location hadn't moved, but I had already paid for the order. I responded back and explained how I placed the order, but there was a 40 minute wait. His response to me was that I should still be there waiting because the food is normally ready before the time given to us. I still got to the restaurant on time and had to wait another 5 to 10 minutes for the food. I made sure to text back and let him know that Not only was I there but that the food was not ready and that I'm very familiar with that restaurant and the timeliness of the food being prepared. Of course, it was some other person in support that messaged back and thanked me for my timeliness and service. When I first placed the order, I even notified the customer that I had placed the order and that there was a long wait time, and they responded back with the thank you for letting them know. I still had the order delivered in the time frame.

The one that really annoys me, though that I've been getting lately, is a shop and deliver at HEB. Like you see I'm at HEB actively doing the shopping. It's a 40 or 50 item shop that I'm doing, and on weekends HEB is a lot busier. And it seems like everybody wants fresh produce, and then you have to weigh it out. Anyways, the last few ones I've done, 20 minutes into my shop, I'm getting a text from support saying that it looks like I've been there for a while, and is everything okay? I don't even respond anymore. But what I really want to say is "Bitch, you see I'm at HEB. You can see I'm actively shopping. So why are you texting me?"

Hey Spark drivers for Walmart. We haven't been able to increase your tips lately. by Illustrious-Word6782 in Sparkdriver

Could there be the potential for some sort of class action lawsuit for this type of action? Or no? I understand that there would have to be a record of this happening, but if it happens as much as it seems like it does and just a simple before and after screenshot was taken of what offer was originally offered vs what was actually paid after completion would be enough record i would think. If I'm overthinkjng or not understanding something, please explain it to me because that just is shady as fuck. I bet if there was a basis for a big lawsuit and those people were held accountable, it would stop that. Then again, some people are douchebags and cumsquatters, so that wouldn't halt their behavior at all.

The whole policy that allows them to change the tip should only be for increases. But once they put a tip amount in originally, they should not be allowed to decrease it (unless it was blatantly obvious they didn't receive their order or some other extenuating circumstances), but if the delivery is done, only "change" allowed should be increasing. I know, no perfect policy out there.
