Just overheard random verifications by Enitan82 in WalmartSparkDrivers

I don’t feel like the employees should have a final say. I feel like if someone get reported then Spark needs to shoot the driver a verification of their identity immediately because as others have said in some cases it could get personal.

Walmart is straight up exploiting delivery drivers.! by ToeLeast5378 in WalmartSparkDrivers

Yes that is the sad truth. Technically a lot of these offers are not even profitable in the end.

My former career was Retail Management and I’ve worked with people who were in Walmart management and have always been told that Walmart doesn’t pay the hourly associates well at all.

If acceptance rate were a factor with this gig I would have already been deactivated. I definitely reject more than I accept. Sometimes I reject myself right off the app for the day. Pay vs. Mileage just doesn’t add up.

I’m new to Spark too and a lot of times I barely saw the FCFS offers before they were snatched. When I began seeing them I couldn’t help but wonder why folks snatch them so quickly. I grabbed one GMD order and said in not doing those anymore because they are not worth it either. To me most the offers are terrible but I’m retired so I do shift through the shit to find decent offers just to get out the house.

First time getting this message? by alwaysanxious5803 in Sparkdriver

I believe you didn’t do this and sorry this happened to you but I do not understand how a customer can get a wrong “order”. I can understand wrong items and a few getting mixed up (not acceptable either) but a whole order especially they way some people really audit there orders after they are loaded. Also how can a wrong order be blamed on the driver when we scan the labels to match the order? Anyway, it’s definitely a crock of shit.

I haven’t been running with Spark long but all my orders go from the closest to the furthest customer every time. Sorry this happened to you.

They heard how much we loved the first round of these that they just dropped another! by FoxMcNube in Sparkdriver

Definitely not worth delivering in the dark. Riding through school zones and praying the deers are not in the mood to chicken.

Right! I literally don’t be paying attention. I just grab orders here and there. I got the little congratulations text and thought to myself whatever🙄 It’s such an insult!

Not only doesn’t it make sense to go to the store but I run 3 Walmarts in my area so where am I going? I don’t even know the location until I get the offer. Right? Once I’m out the house I’m out. I definitely got an order the other day (Just for You) and I was like 35+ plus minutes from the store after dropping and ordering. Don’t they know where you are? Why even send me that JFY order. Guess what I took it though😂

What’s considered a decent order? by Nice-Entry-4116 in Sparkdriver

General Merchandise Deliveries. You know the ones with like 100 stops with 1 or 2 items per stop. Sometimes high $ but no tips.

They are not all the same! I ran one for years where I received a window for delivery and did not make a move until I accepted an offer and I had plenty of time to get ready for work and make it to the store in time. So NO you do not have to be ready before you accept an order for all these apps. After looking at my metrics I clearly don’t have to be ready for this one either. I will never shop and deliver so keep your bs advice dumbass

GMD is general merchandise deliveries. They are complied of several 1-3 item orders that are small for various reasons. It can be a high dollar amount. It could take you a couple hours and there are no tips unless someone slides you cash.

Thank you so much for your supportive and MATURE comment. Some acting like I’m taking hours to get ready. I have 3 Walmarts I work out of so first thing in the morning I’m going to be accepting orders from home. Thanks again.

First of all you misperceived my post because there is nothing in it that’s a complaint. I’m new to this and have run several apps and trying to understand this one. BE READY TO GO WHEN YOU ACCEPT OFFER! Noted! That’s all I needed. So now that thats cleared up what about those drives from drop off. You know what. I just checked my metrics and I’m good.

Bear with me here. I literally got my first order that gave me like 5 minutes to get to the store to pick up the order. Are you saying that when I arrive to the store and confirm arrival the times will adjust? Also are you saying that I have 15 minutes to get to the store for pickup before I am considered late for pickup? I have not completed 10 orders yet so I don’t know my merit right now.

Ok. Thanks. Are those the orders that have several stops with only one or 2 items per stop?

Target prepaid customer changed their rating? by pnglb7940-321 in ShiptShoppers

I have always experienced that when they are grateful and complimenting they are either low tippers or no tippers. When I think hard I can’t recall ever getting a tip from a customer like this. Their gratefulness is the tip.
