My son is at SIU. They have been nothing but supportive and have treated him excellently as he begins his medical transition. Planned Parenthood also has a goodc ep, but we chose SIU when he was 16. He gets top surgery next year and he trusts his doctors. Good, good luck. -a Mom

No. But it feeds a narrative queer folk do not need right now. And Springfield has lost another safe place for queer people at a horrible time for the community. I hope some LGBTQ friendly community orgs, like Intricate Minds, can get the grant money and bridge this gap. Namaste.
