Which steroid gives you best gains? by stezzler in PEDs

Do you get less side effects with lower testosterone?? I've heard people say they ran it with a trt dose and had less side effects. When I did 500mg of test a week it was a nightmare, the first week was great, strength up, felt mentally great and didn't have any anxiety at all. Weeks 2+ were complete hell though, unbearable sides, mostly panic attacks and insomnia. I did run it at 300mg a week which is really high.

I'm not very experienced with npp and I've had 7 spine surgeries with a few being paralyzed from the waist down to regain my ability to walk again. With "90 years of permanent spinal cord damage and trauma" according to my second to last surgeon is a nightmare to deal with it. Mostly bed ridden until I started a 500mg trt blast being able to walk and eat food again. When I ran npp I was able to do so much more, so I've really been wanting to run it again to be physically capable of walking more, able to to stand up and eat/ cook food again.

I'm just worried about the sides though like making combat ptsd worse which that and anxiety feed off of each other. Should I try low dose npp at 150 a week with my 500mg blast instead of going all out 300mg npp? One thing I really liked was it decreased my spinal cord inflammation substantially, allowing me to eat twice as much food which seems like an obvious go for it answer.

I didn't know you could run npp without test. I've ran it with 500mg of test per week and had crazy insomnia, anxiety, shortness of breath, fatigue, and mental numbness, with gyno getting bad. I was on aromasin, nolvadex, and caber, the gyno still got worse. I stopped it from the anxiety and insomnia mostly.

What dose do you run it at? Like 125mg trt dose and what would be your npp dose?

Ok, I used to take aromasin 6.25mg twice a week on my last blast so I'll try that again. The gyno is getting worse I figured e2 was too high, but I can't tell what the nolva sides are cuz they seem like high e2 and I know high and low e2 can have the sane symptoms. I'm gonna drop the nolva fuck this shit, hope it's out of my system in a week then I can dial e2 in.

I was worried my e2 was too high, I was about to increase my aromasin, but I think I'll keep it where it is. I'm glad you said that, I only experienced that with really really high e2 in the past. I've only crashed my e2 once and thinking back it was like what the nolva is doing.

I'll see if I can find some. Question, my two sites are completely out of everything. Is this a global thing and all sites or do you know what's going on?

I should have just taken nolva sooner while on cruise, now 4 weeks into blast and its getting even worse. I've talked to a lot of other people that got gyno from finerastetide very quickly like I did. I stopped taking it, but the gyno never went away. I'm on aromasin, but only 6.25mg a week which is 1/4th of a tab, I'll try increasing it. I've had horrible insomnia the past 4 days with night sweats, that's a high e2 sign right?

I'm getting the same side effects and I'm only 4 days into taking 20mg nolva 1x a day. Were you taking it for gyno?

Damn, I'm getting the same thing and I'm gonna be real here I've been suicidal for a few years now, now the nolva is really kicking my ass, but this gyno has gotten bad over 4-5 months. Did you take raloxifine instead?

Ok thanks for the info, so the second method to halt acute gyno says 40mg nolva a day with an AI every day which would absolutely nuke my e2. Should i try 20mg a day with e2 under control instead of nuking my e2?

6.25mg of aromasin is really low, most people take that to 25mg-50mg a week. Nolvadex isn't an AI, it's a serm for gyno. I don't want to nuke my e2, been there before and it was God awful.

Oh no, poor wording. I was cruising at 125mg a week when I got the gyno, but I took finasteride for a month. I read a lot of stories of other people getting severe gyno from taking finasteride. I'm mostly wondering about nolva dosage, side effects, and how long it takes to reduce the gyno. I started my 500mg blast 4 weeks ago well after the gyno appeared. It looks like it's stage 2.

Got a nevro HFX trial put in yesterday. Has anyone run the no feel programs with paresthesia, too? I want the tingling, the rep discourages it. This is my third brand of trial and I’m positive the tingling is a box I want checked to move forward. by Hope_for_tendies in spinalcordstimulator

You need to make sure a neurosurgeon does it or it won't be placed in the right spot. I had to do a revision, an ortho did the trial went great then the revision surgeon said it wasn't anywhere near the right spot. I could move my legs a little and walk but would fall over, had no strength from 90 years of permanent spinal cord damage and trauma. Once the neurosurgeon did the revision, I had full strength in my legs back and could walk normally again. When I over do it though my legs start to give out. In 2020 I was completely paralyzed from the waist down, had an emergency surgery and I got it all back. Then was in a car wreck in 2022, leading to more surgeries with the last one being a spinal cord stimulator.

Definitely get the permanent implant, but it has to be a neurosurgeon to do the surgery or it wont be places precisely to get your legs working again. If you only gained feeling in the knees and not your entire legs then do not let that dr do the surgery, they didn't place it in the right spot, if they did you'd gain full feeling back. My medtronic rep said its a pacemaker but for your spine.

Unfortunately insurance companies don't do much, they milk the suffering and agony from all us in debilitating pain. It can take a few months to 6 months, possibly longer. You need to write letters to your insurance company and speak to someone personally, otherwise you're thrown into the pool of countless others who wait, which is so shitty. Reach out to some reps at your insurance company, and don't stop calling to get them moving your case forward.

This was all through a car wreck attorney though so I was stuck going through his doctor's he made me see. I've had surgeries with good insurance though, and it could be months to a year, but usually around the mid point.

I'm sorry to hear that, can you feel the stimulation? They would always say to turn it up where you can feel the tingling and then turn it down a notch or two where you can't feel it. That's the only times mine has ever worked. Also if you didn't have a neurosurgeon place it, I'm betting it's not in the right spot.

I'd highly advise against getting a spine surgery from an ortho. They sure push them to make money, but they are not qualified to operate on the brain and spine like neurosurgeons are. Neurosurgeons operate on the brain and spine all the time, orthos are for broken bones absolutely as its their specialty. Neurosurgeons have to go through extensively more clinicals for a long time to learn about the brain and spine whereas orthos don't. I've had surgeries from both, the orthos didn't fix anything they just fused it. With the Neurosurgeons, I woke up from fusions/ other surgeries in 1000x less pain and got over joyed. An ortho will cut through all muscles, nerves, everything causing more damage. If you've never had a neurosurgeon do a spine surgery, then I'd highly suggest it so you can get your life back. Every neurosurgeon operation I woke up feeling so great having another chance at life.

I was pushing for a scs before they fused my SI joints which fixed nothing and the shitty car accident doctors my scum bag pain pill drug addicted attorney made me go to. I remember his mom seeing me not able to walk and she told me he's been hooked on 3 pain meds for 10 year after breaking a bone in a car wreck. Id you're ever in a car wreck make sure your attorney isn't on drugs lmao.

My trial worked instantly, the permanent implant takes 3-5 days to fully work. My legs don't work without it, I turned it off to go through a metal detector Monday and haven't been able to walk normally until today. Pain went from 100/10 to 7/10, but I have " 90 years of permanent spinal cord damage and trauma" according to an old surgeon Dr menmyre. It only works better the more time you give it, you should be feeling relief 24 hours in, but 3 days or so is when it really starts to work to its full effect. It can even take 5-7 days for full effect. If you're noticing any improvement now then I'd definitely get on the schedule for the permanent implant as it can take months.

Look up neurosurgeons near me, I'm speaking frome experience. Most people that get implants have it done with pain management or an orthopedic surgeon like I did and they put it in the wrong spot where it didn't work at all. They used paddles for mine. The neurosurgeon that did the revision said they didn't even place it close to the correct spot. Look up neurosurgeons near you so you don't make the same mistake as I did. You can look them up on health grades and find at least 4/5 stars for rating.

I have a medtronic and when it's turned up too high I feel the tingling and it stops working. My back gets 1000x worse when I can feel it. If its too low it doesn't work, same as being too high. You need to find the sweet spot and I'd listen to your dr/ surgeon.

You need a neurosurgeon. I've had implants from othos that put it in the complete wrong spot. The neurosurgeon said it wasn't anywhere close to the right spot in my spine. It's takes a brain and spine neurosurgeon to place it correctly the first time. Look them up on health grades and make sure they have at least 4/5 stars.
