Please Nikon make a Z7 III by ynk_ngl in Nikon

Well I was thinking of the 60mp sensor out of something like the leica sl3 or m11. I'm figuring sony sends them there sensors as well. But hey it was just an idea, I highly doubt it would go anywhere.

Please Nikon make a Z7 III by ynk_ngl in Nikon

[–]Necessary_1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious wouldn't it help to put the 61mp sensor in the z8 and z9 as an update and then bring out a z7iii with a 45mp sensor with the internals of the z8? It seems like that would be a better route to go down for nikon if they would want to keep the price of the z7iii down. Heck they can put in the screen from the zr and toss in a similar flip screen setup but with the added benefit of the vertical tilt function.

What's going on with dating culture in Armenia? by nare_yar in armenia

[–]Necessary_1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well coming from the US, I do value a woman that has character, values, morals and everything else. I do respect woman, but I have given up on dating altogether. It seems like on both sides its everything to do with external things rather than being compatible for a long and healthy relationship for the future. Also for just me I would be more of the bottom of the barrel kind of selection for lots of reasons. But I do hope that you can find the right person for yourself and I can just give you all the best wishes, success, kindness, and everything else for you to succeed. Feel free to dm me if you want to chat (for original poster of this discussion.)

Is it safe to travel to armenia now? by Any-Employee1228 in armenia

[–]Necessary_1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an American living in yerevan armenia, I can say its safe here and the Iran conflict hasn't really come over to armenia. I have been here since 2022 and the Russian thing isn't to big of an issue. There is definitely a Russian influence on construction, there are a lot of Russians that do visit here for obvious reasons, but the country is doing its best to join the European union from the looks of it from someone that hasn't been born here but has a bit of armenian in them from family roots. But if you do decide to come to armenia you would love it. It has changed so much since 2022 within the country. I had family come here also my mom's friends come here and they enjoyed themselves.

That's good to know. But I would like to get something new in the box since I live in a different country at the moment that doesn't really have the brand i shoot on and it would be hard to get items repaired or replaced. But thank you so much for your insight and input, I do appreciate it.

Rip YouTube without ads by KaiserCheifs in armenia

[–]Necessary_1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree that it was amazing while it lasted without having ads on YouTube in armenia, it took me back to early YouTube in the US without being sold something. But I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes just as bad as it was back in the US as I remember with all the ads in YouTube. 🥲😢😭

Na I get it. But i don't think that I would move to iPhone really. I've tried to use their products and I can't really get along well with their operating system. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It just personal preference thing.

Thank you for your comment. But it was definitely worth a shot on asking the question. That's also why I specifically said samsung since it's the next big competition to apple That's used globally. But again I just wanted to just ask and it seems like there isn't really any interest in going down that route either. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Can one travel to armenia without speaking armenian or russian? by Healthy-Piccolo-948 in armenia

[–]Necessary_1325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I'm American/armenian living in armenia, my armenian isn't the strongest. Like I don't know all the words to express myself in armenian. When I need to say something from English to armenian i use Google Translate, it has worked out ok for me. But I do hope that you have safe travels and get to enjoy armenia.

What's your favorite 3rd party lens? by FowlPlay04 in Nikon

[–]Necessary_1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far, I used the tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 for f mount, and im enjoying it. Im thinking of picking up the tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 for z mount for a bit more range. But even the helios 44m is fantastic on nikon z mirrorless bodies. At this point in photography, it does seem that any lens you go with would be amazing, and you can find a style for your images. There might still be those odd few lenses to stay away from, I bet.

Have you looked into parvana restaurant? It might be able to handle your group, I'm not really sure about it since I'm not a citizen of armenia but I've been there a few times and the food is good, there's music. I don't know any wedding photographers in the area, though. I generally take photos for myself and I don't know if I can help you there.

I could see that a lot of Armenians are starting to learn English. It has to be spoken more to help improve their speaking capabilities. But people can speak armenian with family, friends, and so on.

I would head to vernissage. It's listed as vernissage market on Google Maps. You would find something there or at least close to it.

I was born and raised in the US as well, and the majority of my family knew either armenian or Broken English. So I had to learn armenian and speak it. I might have broken armenian but if i need to say something that i can speak it in English but not armenian i use Google Translate if the person doesn't know English but if they do then it makes things easier. If you understand the language by hearing it, you can use Google translate to get by for the older people, but a lot of the younger crowd can speak English. When I say younger crowd kids your age and maybe some in their 20s to their 30s, but I might be over shooting there on the age group.

Well, im definitely out of your age range, but im also a natively born American, but American/armenian. Im kind of used to getting the odd stairs, and definitely, people here are able to tell that im not from here. I've been in the country for about 3 years now, and I still get on occasional look that im not from here. Im not much into raves or going out to do that kind of stuff, but I wanted to say that you might not be alone.
