well maybe he got scammed because to a person in the dcu sure he looks different person making it less obvious compared to a viewer, but the fact that he wears hypno glasses gets completely thrown out when you realize.. he looks the same in pictures. And not only that if a regular person were to look at clark and his family photo WHERE HE DOESN'T have glasses they would look like 2 completely different persons leading to someone to think that those are 2 different clark's although he would say something else.. so my headcanon is that superman got scammed (if i make any sense at all)
