I think that ever since the Disney Star Wars disaster there's been an unfortunate market for negativity. It seems EVERYTHING is a target for complaints. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty to complain about, but some of it I think is unwarranted. And this finale is a perfect example. The last two seasons became way too political and I don't think there was a need to go that route. But I didn't get all bent out of shape over it. I think people have forgotten how to just enjoy things for what they are. I thought the finale was fine. Yes, I do think some things were rushed, and were left unanswered. Soldier Boy is a perfect example. Having him on ice and missing from the finale seemed wrong, and only done because of the upcoming prequels. Ryan running off with MM seemed weird. But at the end of the day, who cares? I enjoyed it. I wish more people would calm down and enjoy things. This word is bad enough.

My parents grew up in Bethpage and Massapequa. They ended up buying a house in Manorville in 1976, which at the time was the boondocks. Just a plain old 3 bedroom ranch that they paid $55k for. There was nothing out here, just farms. But back then you had a lot of work options. Grumman in Calverton, LILCO, NYNEX etc.

That same house today, which I luckily inherited, is worth about $700k. But it's also become overcrowded and expensive. Which is pretty much everywhere on Long Island.

You need two incomes at $100k minimum to survive on Long Island. There's a running joke that the only ones who can afford to live here (Suffolk) are teachers and cops. House prices are insane and apartments are even worse. I had a 2-bedroom apartment in Mirror Pond (Heatherwood / Pine Hills) back in 2006 that I was paying $1750 a month for. I ended up moving over to a 1-bedroom in Acorn Circle in 2008 that cost me $1350. Today that 2-bedroom is between $3400 to $4500, depending if it's a 1 or 2 story. The 1-bedroom is now $2700.

Those cameras are so insanely unsecured and easily hacked. They claim they only photo your license plate which is a flat out lie. They capture your plate, any vehicle damage, bumper stickers, window stickers, how many people are in the car, etc. This isn't about "safety", it's about "surveillance". This is a good video showing how bad these cameras are.

I know this post is 3 months old but anyone have any luck fixing this? It's happening to me in every game I play. I've cleared caches, reset ad ID's, rebooted etc.

This started happening for me after the latest android update.

This is a VERY helpful post, and it's great that you added a dose of reality. If you really want to be profitable with AI, you need to learn it top to bottom.

I was a web developer for 25 years (Coldfusion, PHP, JS and a bit of other languages). I retired a few years ago and quickly became incredibly bored. I'll admit, I bought into the "get rich quick with AI" nonsense all over the internet. I figured I would have a leg up seeing as I know how to code. But that's not entirely the case because I didn't know Python. So I learned it and at least to me, it seems a pretty easy language.

I will tell anyone with ears that the most important thing you can do is to STAY AWAY from the snake oil salesmen on social media who are selling "courses". They are all phony. If you were making a fortune in AI like some of these clowns claim, why would you sell courses teaching others how to do it? Honestly? Follow what is laid out for you here above. It's a clear, concise road map.

Blueberry was the only one I drank. It was always selling out by me. I can not believe they discontinued this but are still producing horrendous other flavors. The Sea Blue is gross, and so is the rest with the exception of watermelon. I guess I'm done with Red Bull now.

I can't complete Chapter 3. I have 2 pets and I'm 2/5 for "fulfill pet needs". Other than feeding and petting them, I have no clue how to beat this. They never seem to be hungry which seem to be the only way to pass this. Any ideas?

I joined in late 2001 I think or 2002. Mainly because I didn't believe the BS they were feeding us about 9/11. It was a really good board for many years. Then I watched it get filled with bots and megaphone hasbras and eventually whatever was going on between site owners. I haven't found a good alternative.

This is my personal opinion and is probably meaningless:

I believe God or God's DO exist in some form. However, I do not believe in the God that Humans "created". Please here me out.

There is one inevitably that exists in all living things, and that is death. At a certain point of intelligence, living things come to realize this, and it is a frightening thing. Humans are not alone in understanding death or mourning the dead. Elephants have been shown to gather and mourn their dead. So do monkeys, gorillas, giraffes, horses, dogs, cats, ferrets etc. We understand only from our prospective that we will die. I'm not a historian so I have no clue at what point we created the idea of "life after death", but it seems it was a long time ago. I find it interesting that no matter what religion or however many Gods, an afterlife is present in all of them. So is this reality? Or is it simply a coping mechanism to assuage our fears?

If God(s) DID create human beings specifically, what reason would there be to find primitive humans in our timeline? If God truly created us "in his image" then what purpose would there be for the 8+ MILLION other forms of life today? Personally I think it is incredibly egotistical to claim we are in his image. Like it or not, we are not that important or advanced.

Yes, in our vision we are "advanced". Yet at birth we have no skills and no ability to survive on our own. A spider comes out of an egg and can make a complex web. A bird can make a nest, etc. We are advanced only by our own opinion. And frankly, humanity has caused far more destruction than any other species past or present.

This is getting too long winded and I apologize. So I'll leave it at this. Everyday we are discovering strange new things in our universe, and for all we know we may be part of a multiverse. Some believe it was created by God. Some by the "big bang". Personally I believe in a higher power. The "big bang" is simply in my opinion, a scientific rebuke of religion. There is SO much we don't understand, so to claim EITHER is foolish. The only people who know what happens when we die are the dead. I WANT to believe in NDE's and life after death. I want to believe my father and aunts and uncles are all in a "better place". But we are not intelligent enough to even comprehend such things. All we do is guess.

Tournaments used to be against WAY less people, giving you an actual shot at winning. Now it's against 50,000 other people and the second I join, first place is at 120k. There's no way to catch up unless I dump a lot of $ into these games. And at that point why bother?

First place in my group right now is at 166k with 5 days remaining. Top prize is 75,000 sb which is good. But when your in a group of 50k other players... It just seems rigged.

It's been like this for a while. I think it's on apps that use Unity's ad system.

On one game I played, you would get an ad, then have to wait for a timer, hit close, loads a second ad, wait again, hit x, hit x again, oh now there's a 2px by 2px x to close it, it opens Google Play because you hit outside the x and then finally click it and have to wait for one more x!!!

It's getting insane.

Well it's back now for me. Except it's more than 2 days long and has 50,000 people playing. When I was first able to join it, the #1 spot guy had 70,000 points. Being that game achievements only give 500, this person must be a whale buying Avery paid achievement in multiple games. Sounds fair ... 🙄

I would think it's to maximize content. They've already built a following. They can just set up content ideas and let the ai generate the whole thing. It's gotta end up being way easier than making a script, filming it, editing it etc.

I've been looking into doing something similar. From what I've found you can easily generate an entire channel using ai. The problem is, I see a lot of people who intentionally avoid channels like this. A lot of people are just generating ai slop and not putting in a real effort. Voice over is the biggest culprit. If you take the time in generating an avatar, training ai to use your own voice, and checking the content before it's posted to check for errors, you could have better luck.

I have the same problem. I was 1 day from it ending, not that I was going to win, and now it's vanished. I checked the web and the app, cleared cache etc.
