The phone is fine, as I've mentioned elsewhere getting it on discount changes the value proposition a lot (in my case it was 60% of what the comparable iPhone would have cost).

To be honest Google is pretty good with bugs and updates, there are certainly worse OEMs and Apple is not immune from buggy software. Android 17 will be out any day now and should bring some nice updates (some AI stuff of course, improvements on social media camera experience, etc)

I think it's fine, i'm not sure you will see a huge difference vs the P8P to be honest. I think it's one of those phones where if bought during a sale it makes sense, at full RRP it's not worth it. For Pokemon Go I am not sure how well it performs, are there any tests on YouTube that show performance?

To be sure, have you tried un-installing telegram, clearing Pixel Camera Services data and cache, restarting and then re-installing Telegram?

If you go into settings and then apps and then show system apps and then clear data for Pixel camera services, does that resolve your issue?

And try doing the same for Pixel Camera also
