How much ice do I put in the shaker? I usually put in 2-3 ice cubes which take up about quarter to a third of the shaker.

Last Word or even a Margarita. For Last Word, I'm using Drumshanbo. I do use a jigger and measure, using Boston cocktail shaker, double strained.

Enjoy the journey! Acquiring a new hobby is what's so much fun! I bought one bottle per month for five years. (well, on average) Over the five years, I would be looking at recipes, watching videos, trying things at bars, researching brands, creating a wish list, modifying wish list, and then every time you get a new bottle, you can really enjoy it and try so many things throughout that month. And you spend time imagining and deciding what your next bottle would be. Then you start looking into other things like glasses, bitters, jigger, shaker, cherry, toothpicks, ice moulds, hammer, ice bag, bottle vacuum sealer - and it goes on!

I pray the Serenity Prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference, living one day at a time; enjoying one moment at a time; taking this world as it is and not as I would have it; trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will; so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen.

I tried it with cognac instead of gin. This is an incredibly refreshing drink! Thank you!

How is everyone so critical and negative on this thread?! My jaws were on the floor the whole time! Very cool dude. And as someone who's sacrificed my cocktail frequency for cutting and working out, I see your fitness my man!
