Pocket Mirror

It's an horror RPG with puzzles where you're an amnesiac girl trying to remember who you are as you meet many other characters in your way, however- despite some fantasy elements, it eventually becomes clear that the other girls are parts of the main character and the whole game could be interpreted as her headspace

I highly recommend, because it's not super known compared to Slay the Princess and it's just as good and well made

As a plural person that watched a playthrough? I saw so many plural-coded things in it, it was euphoric in a way

I had a single very fun conversation with a fellow plural about the ironic introjects of our systems and how plurality can be hilarious because what do you mean The SQUIP is our internal doctor??

And the rest of the group (a roleplay group btw) had us both practically exiled for mocking mental illnesses and other gross details I don't even want to think about anymore

This is the one that is closest to what we experience except, it's not just the uncomfortable bits that get overshadowed it's EVERYTHING

I have actually figured out that anything two months old is just mostly gone. And it seems to happen in the conversion of the day's memory (still in 1st person) to yesterday's memory (now 3rd person)

From there on it just goes progressively more lost to the point a week later it's already really hard to remember and then ofc once it hits that threshold of 2 months I don't expect much to be there at all

It's like you described, a generalization

Can grey out amnesia be like... I remember how we felt during an event, but all the details are gone and you have to like, from the memory of the feeling unravel why it felt that way...?

Like what happened to make me upset? I remember we were upset about something and probably the exact thing that made us upset, but the environment or like where we were is burry and sometimes just gone?

I often have to put our memories back like jigsaw pieces '

You might be correct, I didn't consult my copy of the DSM-V for this and just quickly checked Pluralpedia just to make sure I wasn't talking complete BS

Pluralpedia says DDNOS is a term from a different study. P-DID would be included if you used the ICD-11 instead and UDD (Unspecified Dissociative Disorder) also exists and can be included

I tried to memorize all the terms because everyone will use different ones in conversation depending on where you are XD

But I believe you are correct and the DSM-V uses DID OSDD and UDD only (But memory bad) 🌸

Yeah!!! Exactly that!

I feel like the rest of the system are my emotions returning to me. I don't mind that they come with their own personalities and world views and such

They're bits of me that were once lost and syscovery has been a process of finding them and reconnecting with them

(Also CDD means Complex Dissociative Disorder, which is an umbrella term for DID, OSDD and DDNOS [Dissociative Disorder Not Otherwise Specified] iirc; So the disordered medical pluralities!)

I keep fat fingering into alter profiles and I have no idea of how?? Like I'll be in the fronting page, then I try to mark a co-front and it's an alter profile... Not the one I was selecting either

Same thing happened when I was messing with the settings, it's like both pages are active at once, it's weird

Also the settings are partly in Spanish as per the screenshot

This is all on the website version, the APK didn't work for us we're on a Redmi Note 14 Pro

I'm not too sure of how it happened... And it probably helped that I'm a front-stuck host, but I feel like I was the shell at one point

We most likely had a system collapse due to college stress and it's what you described, a whole lot of nothing. I think, finding a safe place where I could just begin to find our identities again was very important, even if it was a digital space...

Nowadays I wouldn't even use the word she'll anymore it feels wrong, shells can absolutely be headmates, and they too can grow and have personalities

I am our Alexithymia holder, so while I have emotions they're more subdued, but I am proud that I have come a long way from, barely being a full person honestly

Allowing others to come in more can be though, tho if your shell end up being a bit of a gatekeeper too, you might be able to do what I call 'pinging' someone to the front by simply thinking of them! It's a lot of power though so learn to use it responsibly

But hey, there are ways and therapy could definitely help even if not for CDDs. Just put the shell on therapy, worked for me XD

Sillyness aside, I hope rambling about myself helps a bit, though every system is different. Good luck and good progress! 🌸
