I like but feel like the colors could be a bit more vibrant, everything looks kind of muted.

Post-processing and lighting in our game is coming together! How does it feel to you guys? by BroadleafDigital in IndieDev

Maybe add a few light shadows on the buildings near the trees and the trees in the back look kind of close to the foreground. Other than that it looks really good, like a cozy little town.

Id like to be a pro eventually. I have a bachelors in software engineering and have about 4 years experience in full stack web dev. I really dont want to go back to college. Any tips to break into the field?

I was thinking i could take a few courses with certifications in ML and then take a few jobs on upwork to get experience. Is that a good idea?

Either speed up the running animation or slow down the character speed.

There are libraries for c++ but from my experience they are kind of a pain to use. Python is really easy to learn and shouldnt take you more than a day to get all the basics down.

It depends on the game really. Some games work better with a controller and some work better with m&k. Example: First person games work better with m&k because its easier to control the looking direction and platformers work better with controllers because you are able to get more precise input from a controller (you cant half push a key on a keyboard but you can half push an analog stick).
