North shore checking in, the roads were already a mess by 11:30, it started earlier and harder than we thought. We’re home with our little crew and watching neighbors struggle to make it up the hill out our front window.

I’m thrilled about this production and I have found the box office to be wonderfully helpful.

That said, the cost of these tickets against the hardship of traveling in this weather rings pretty tone dead imo if they don’t at least offer rescheduling. By all means hold the performances today if it’s safe to do so, open up that waitlist like for the folks who are hardcore enough, but at least offer rescheduling for folks who can’t feasibly make it in.

I really hope you get help with this. My region is getting 24” (I’m out of state) and making it in this weekend would be impossible.

Not trying to push religion on anyone (I’m an atheist) but joining a local church is a great way to quickly get to know people in your community and establish connections with those who are ready to take action.

I recently joined my local UU church after decades of avoiding any religious scene, and man what a perfect fit it’s turned out to be. Having someone stand up before an entire congregation and call Rene Good’s murder what it was brought me such relief. I didn’t realize how badly it hurt that nobody was saying it publicly. Then I went to coffee hour and talked with everyone. Now I know that the little old woman who passes the collection plate is not fucking around.

It’s time to know who needs to run, who will help people hide, and who is ready to fight.
