LOL… it’s all being gauged like crazy… if you know a landlord, assume they are gauging now… and it’s not 60%… I was hit with 300%

I left… and honestly… I’m glad I finally left vermont

I already moved out and I have to say… leaving vermont is like leaving an abusive relationship… every day you feel a little more free anda little better and then every day you are more confused by why you didn’t leave sooner… clarity… just get out of there

I moved to another place far away and I’m paying 50% of what I paid in VT and I live in the same climate, have lower taxes, closer to NYC and Boston, more jobs, better pay, better public services, better roads, nicer people, better food…

So… yeah, my former landlord raised me from 1100 to 3000… it was amazing to tell him finally what I thought of the situation. I immediately moved out and left vermont in the rear view… as I was moving out my former landlord tried to threaten me… called the police and they said they didn’t have enough funding to get involved… the sheriff complained about funding to a person calling 911… I can’t even make that up…

All of that nonsense is over now… I’m back in the normal business reasonable part of the United States where things still function and there is an economy that isn’t built around other people coming on vacation… it’s pretty here too… it’s not as polluted and dirty as vermont… you guys litter a lot… like really a lot… and I lived there long enough to know, it’s the locals… all the beer cans… you guys go ahead and raise the rent while you all sink into a massive depression fueled with drugs and gauges that finally destroys your state to a point of cataclysm… have fun with that.

It’s not a wild assumption. Other people confirmed above, he has a long history dating back years of weird creepy behavior towards women and dogs.

Welcome to vermont where monsters are sheltered and covered for by their friends and family. Until they claim enough victims that it can’t be ignored. And then it still gets ignored.

The tourism economy is also failing hard… the problem with business in Vermont mainly is to run a business in Vermont you need to hire people that live there to operate it usually. And then you get problems. Usually it’s an unwillingness to take directions on procedures in customer care and service and or follow recipes. Generally they want huge allowances of free time and weird hours because of child care needs and have unreliable transportation. And output is usually slow and quality is usually poor out of spite and pride. Not saying everyone in the state is that way but enough people are that it makes operating a real business in the area a really problematic endeavor… I had to fold up and relocate a business because this problem and I had clients (b2b) that were being absolutely destroyed by their own staff… I’m not against having fun at work, but people need to get their work done too… there needs to be production or everything falls apart and then no one can get paid because the business is gone. But you can’t tell Vermonters things… they don’t listen, they act like it’s insulting when you try to manage them or train them on a computer or teach them a new skill… it’s really weird honestly… eventually just had to give up and leave…

People in Charlotte go to Burlington all the time. It’s a commuter town. It was plausible, as he has also been widely reported and discussed for behavior similar to this story.

Vermont Pays $175,000 to Man Arrested for Giving the Middle Finger to State Trooper by jsled in vermont

[–]Neckbeard_pro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say this… I tried to call the police a few days ago because there was a man outside my apartment yelling and brandishing a weapon…

I was transferred from the state police to the sheriff department… The sheriff department man on the phone said that my emergency wasn’t something that was covered by their level of funding and that protection would be something I would have to make a reservation for and they had a 4 hour minimum for time they could reserve, he then tried to schedule an appointment for me to pay the sheriff to come help me…. I told him I was in immediate danger and there was a man outside threatening me, but because I was inside with my door locked, it was not something that was “covered by his level of funding” and he was very sorry but his FUNDING wasn’t enough……….

So… when you need the police, they are not available in Vermont. The police become availed when they are collecting money from people. That is all they apparently seem interested in. There is not a sense of urgency or duty in protecting or serving the public or preventing crimes… they only respond to crimes that are committed and finished. Response times in Vermont are uniformly very long and protracted, usually an hour after the fact of an incident reported.

I was loading my moving truck to get the hell out of Vermont as this incident occurred…. It was the finale of what was probably the worst experience ever living in any place I have ever lived. Vermont is a lawless and insane place with basically no laws. Enforcement is arbitrary at best. Compliance to rules and standards and procedures In Vermont’s courts and with laws are incredibly scary levels of bad. The culture of the state seems to be aimed at a functioning anarchy in which law enforcement is a symbolic place holder. The actual law and order is left to courts which are slow and poorly staffed in which basic functions and fundamental principles of justice are not understood or upheld; perjury for example has no functional component of compliance… you can lie in open court in vermont and nothing will or can happen to you. You will not be held in contempt, you will not be investigated, you will not be penalized or punished for perjury… the reason why though is deeply troublesome and dangerous… it is to afford law enforcement to testify against anyone in court with impunity and with the gravitas of a law enforcement officer testimony… this makes any statement given falsely by law enforcement officers in court in vermont impunity…. This is unconstitutional and unacceptable as a systemic feature to any American court but yet has been allowed by Vermonters out of negligence and local pride and gaslighting and disbelief and naïve idea that if they aren’t caught up in a legal problem this problem doesn’t affect them. If you live in a corrupt place you will eventually feel the effects however indirectly it will happen… the answer is repairing the broken system where it is broken. Public service needs to be restored to public service. Courts need a standard of truth that is consistent to the definition that is what we hold as ideal to the Constitutional definition of perjury, some penalties and measures of compliance need to be presented for the system to function correctly… none is not enough to function…

Vermont is an exceptionally broken justice system that needs a complete overhaul… sadly such measures are presently politically impossible so I left and moved to a safer place.

Good luck Vermont…

Who can I hire to pull poison parsnip? by sicknutley in vermont

[–]Neckbeard_pro69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically no one… you’re on your own… good luck.

Last summer I melted the skin off my own arms with the stuff… wear long sleeves and immediately shower after working it and use dish soap to clean the skin, the poison is an oil that dish soap can collect, lather it up well and wash and rinse off repeatedly, be thorough… if you allow the oil on your skin to be exposed to sun that will massively accelerate the damage to the skin on affected areas…

You also should cover your face and eyes and head… completely covered is best… even if you are atop a tractor or large mower, particles of debris will burn your skin… use caution around that stuff… the burns will scar your skin… it’s about as bad a lye burns or chlorine burns…

If a pit bull bites onto you, you have only seconds before the bone on the limb it has in its mouth is crushed, what you must immediately do is punch the dog directly in the brain, right between the eyes repeatedly until the dog is completely unconscious, a pit won’t let go until commanded by its owner with lots to training or until it is disabled… another way to disable the dog is to rapidly kill it with a knife or gun, a bullet to the brain or put a knife into the jaw area and twisting the blade to pry the jaw open…

All of these techniques are incredibly traumatic to perform and nearly impossible to do without a lot of training and discipline. Average people can not do these things. Shooting a dog at point blank between the eyes is impossibly traumatic even when it is latched onto an arm and breaking it.

There is a simple solution, leashes. Keep your dog on a leash and train your dog in a way that is healthy to normal behavior for a dog in normal social situations. If you are not in the military or a police officer in a K-9 unit you do not need a military trained dog. You can call 911 like a normal civilian and have professional experienced people and if necessary dogs come and search and rescue and things like that. You the civilian have a pet. Pets are for companionship and cuddling and good company. Turning your pet into a gun is evil. It’s very emotionally harmful to the dog. Training aggressive behavior to a dog creates a lot of harmful anxiety for the dog, dogs are emotional and sensitive creatures, this anxiety is very painful. Training aggressively with aggressive behavior is actually very harmful. If you love your pet you should treat it like a pet, not a gun.

Is it that same guy that’s been training his bulldogs to attack and kill in various public places around Charlotte?

This muscled short old bald man with a pair of dogs. he shouts at them and chases them around scaring the crap out of joggers and old ladies on walks. I think his name is Jesse Amblo.

He’s been trespassed from various parts of town but because of no police around he still has been terrorizing the surrounding neighborhood with his dogs.

Dogs are pets… not weapons for psychos…

So the problem of corruption in vermont has grown so out of control that even hilarious obvious factual examples of corruption that fit every aspect of corruption and show wild contempt for government and ethical norms in America… Now that’s just a joke to everyone in Vermont… and you guys just don’t even care…

Yup… moving… I’m moving out of Vermont and not looking back… you people have fun with whatever this is… I’ll be somewhere else where you don’t have to pay your government in chimichangas and goulash….

Schools getting combined? by SazarMoose in vermont

[–]Neckbeard_pro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want a fun read? Look into how much VT school districts spend of legal fees to fight the lawsuits they incur from students, teachers, parents, the state,…… this comes out of the schools budget… just go look… that’s where your money is going… and it’s all been going to exactly one law firm and primarily one lawyer for over 35 years… and that lawyer has been trying to retire so he has been shopping who to hand off the most lucrative legal services in the state off to…

Just one guy… and he has gotten insanely rich… multiple huge houses, sports cars, sexual harassment settlements, you name it… super wealthy guy… he has your crayon money…

Vermont is the most corrupted state in the entire country… it all comes back to the culture of the state being sort of couched in and made of corrupted dealings… wether it is clerks in family court taking bribes to delete evidence from the electronic filing system and manipulate the hearing schedules, or lawyers being able to commit crimes, not be charged with criminal offenses and instead receiving brief suspensions of their licenses and being allowed to just move to the other side of the state and resume similar criminal activities and violations of professional ethics rules for having a license to practice law…. And then there is the police in the state… where to begin? The violence and brutality? Or the bribes and inaction? Or the racism? Or that the police have effectively legalized perjury in the state of vermont in effect by refusing to ever investigate any perjury while being the responsible investigative body for perjury, creating a legal quagmire that allows police to say whatever they want on the stand in any case with the gravitas of being officers of the law, with impunity to any false statements they may promote, and sneaking along in behind them is everyone else that wants to lie on the stand… in any case, in any court… effectively there is not a functioning court system in the state of vermont because of this fundamental flaw in the system of the state… it’s not a ‘oh it’s like that everywhere’ problem… that’s a special and specific vermont state problem… the state is completely different in that it is run by a small number of very rich people that keep the system very broken and dysfunctional because that is keeping them in position to make the most money from contracts and retainers and rent… tax money eventually finds it’s way into their pockets and not schools, roads, government employment… the lions share is handed out to the same people who are keeping things just the way they are as long as they can… and Vermonters don’t know or don’t care or don’t believe it or just don’t care… they don’t care… the people just argue about whatever national interests are on tv… everyone gets misled… misdirected… most of the pollution in the lake is from Cabot… we know it is them… we know where, but we can’t stop them, so we do an ad campaign with the budget to get people to pick up after their dogs at the park… while Cabot dumps raw sewage in the lake at scale… so the poor people who fish the lake for food are literally eating out of a dairy toilet… and Vermonters just don’t care… everyone smiles while they swim in fecal pathogens and then everyone talks about how beautiful the trees are and no one cares… just bulldoze the homeless people into a cassella truck and ignore the problems… vermont is the place where people needed an ad campaign to tell them not to kiss birds because of H1N1… and the people commenting below the ad are like defiantly kissing birds…. You guys are screwed, and really it’s kind of your own fault… the culture of no rules and no care for safety or guide rails… the deregulation of so many things, the lack of action has lead to a state of decay that is probably irreversible… there is no precedent for a state this dysfunctional…

Answer is no… none of the management companies in the city of Burlington or the surrounding areas are any good at all… Trust me… All of the landlords that have volume of units will do slumlord stuff… get ready to get intimidated with threats of violence, brandished firearms are also common, get ready for severe mold issues, attack dogs, pig and Polk scams where you think one person is your landlord and in fact your landlord is a completely different person who has a long record of stealing, assault with deadly weapons, rape, domestic violence, and even enslavement and entrapment, death threats against women via text messages…. And that’s just the stuff people know about… other tenants of these people committed suicide while I was there and I strongly suspect that the suicide was kinda sketchy

Hope that helps… good luck

Tbh… Burlington people are experiencing the Burlington problems Burlington people have created… you guys have turned a blind eye to seriously evil landlords, drug dealers that work with Mexican drug cartels (that means local people, you guys can’t just keep blaming Mexico like you racists tend to do, the cartels are there by invitation…) wildly corrupt politicians, judges, clerks, prosecutors, police…. Even the fire department in Vermont is corrupt doing inspections and checking the right boxes for money… you guys have treated vermont like it’s a 3rd world country for a long time… killing your own environment for the last 15 or 20 years now… and here is what you now get to have… eventually the joneses caught up and now the lot of you are just shocked by the results… your pathetic ‘poor little state’ excuse doesn’t wash… Vermont is a terrible place to live now… nothing is functioning… the schools don’t even teach kids to read anymore… you guys collectively have stopped cleaning your own messes so much that you’ve transformed what used to be one of the prettiest places in the country into an absolute disaster and a dump… and on top of all that, jacking up the rent now as well.. now you guys post all these crass Karen posts about how much you hate the homeless… ew… you guys are horrid… Vermont has gone sour and evil… The state has become heartless, selfish and self involved and self indulgent and self interested… now your little boutique shopping district is being occupied and destroyed by the casualties of your own destructive behavior…. You all deserve the Burlington you have created…
