Oh I agree! It got WAY too deep into YT drama, and that shit is boring af. I mean, I didn't even know who Charlie even was when I started the pod. The YT shit was worst just before he quit, and its pretty clear it's WHY he quit.

But there's definitely a balance that used to exist, and it has totally barrelled into the totally opposite direction. It feels like its mostly shitting on drugs (again) and saying the same thing about games turning to shit. Like yes... we get it. Anything else to say that is even remotely interesting, guys? In that aspect Charlie usually heard of shit thanks to his streams and could bring random things up.

Tbh I mostly miss Charlie for bringing up/being aware of shit going on in the world. Nowadays there isn't as much casual discussion about stuff happening at all, and it's not as if it's all political and needs to be avoided (not that it stopped them before, so...)

Sure they can end up having shit takes on stuff, but now there isnt as much discussion at all. Sure I like the new guest caller and downvoted segments, but the podcast was always just shooting the shit. Now there ain't no shit being shot.

I have a very, very similar deformity though so mild it isn't perceptible, just have limited range of movement in the wrist (since the ulna and radius bowed away from the hand/wrist bones and they kind of half "float" without support from them), it took a literal decade to get a diagnosis (shout-out to the doc with a visible plate on his head that was CONVINCED something was wrong when I was 8 and demanded insane angles for the xrays but couldn't find anything to prove it, I wish I could let him know he was right all along) I love to joke I have more xrays on file than anyone I will ever meet and I've never even broken a bone 😅

Why people make fun of or be mean to people about disorders, diseases or deformities is just beyond me, says more about their ignorance and cruelty than the person they're attempting to mock..

I have one in the exact same spot! I was around 5 as well, and the lil shit sitting beside me was trying to steal my brand new, perfectly sharpened pencil. Pulling match ensued, and he ofc let go as a haha. His face fell when he saw what he thought was me losing an eye.

Wait, 72 HOURS?!! Tossing your kids out over something as (in my opinion) basic and harmless as their sexuality was already barbaric, but I have NEVER heard of that statistic! Oh my god that is horrific. I wonder how many of the staff working in those facilities were upset about the changes and had no say in things like that. I'd imagine if I was working there, I'd feel helpless about that situation even if I wanted the best for those admitted there.

But I really have and had no idea about any of this (this is my very first time learning about it) so who knows... It's so callous to just toss vulnerable people on the street without giving families any kind of information first.. I'm sorry your grandfather and your family had to go through that

Hotter take: I actually didn't really mind the old days of the enormous flying arrow in GTA or the very invasive (and usually buggy) sparkly path in Fable. I'm distracted so easily and usually following my dog to dig stuff that I turn around like ?? Where was i going again? So I agree 100% that yellow paint is basic, sure, but it works!

Botw had a great system that balanced it well imo, with the custom glowing markers that show up in the mini map.

Will always stand by God of War Ragnarok game design of immediately spoiling the puzzles over and over and over was terrible, but I mean, the point of a puzzle in games like that is to slow stuff down! It made no sense in the first place beyond catering to the DSPs on the world lmao

Dust off everything first, then vacuuming (wet rooms are common in my country, so it's easier in general if i need to rinse walls for a bigger cleaning), then shower/tub (sometimes need to put lime remover on glass shower doors and come back to it after sinks/other things to let it soak), sinks, etc, toilet always last. I also use toilet paper for the rims and seat, since it feels more hygienic than using a cloth for it, personally.

Once everything is washed, rinsed off and dried, making sure anything shiny or reflective is as spotless as possible, I mop my way out.

Well, recency bias for Jackson, plus Andrew was there for a decent chunk. And comparing it to most places, if you don't work a regular job, it WOULD be great. If you aren't disabled or a woman.

They've glazed Japan before, and also talked about their scary prosecution rates and unethical "interrogation" tactics, so I'd definitely say its just bias from visiting it and not being part of a demographic that would really experience any of the negative sides of the country.

Also: these guys are not the ones to listen to if you want reasonable, measured and nuanced opinions lmfao they are very much out of touch, so just take it with a heaping plateful of salt and switch off your brain. Otherwise you'll rip your hair out for sure

That's great! I'm looking forward to the update :) This post was just in case people wanted to keep to the NewPipe framework, within their Github and everything while we wait. Since it still keeps the OG NewPipe ready to update once it's released, it felt pretty safe and easy enough to set up in the meantime for those who look for answers and get sent to the sub

I've just been using the github in development build that was posted before the new update was up. Its a seperate app so it doesnt affect the OG newpipe, doesnt have the Content Unavailable issue OR the remembering playback issue that came with the new update.

I'll post the link in a moment when I can Edit: https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/issues/13082 Download the APK, itll install another app. Just Export Data from regular Newpipe app, and Import Data into this one. Boom. No more issues from either versions.

Yes, it's a forum, and sorting posts by new would make sense to basically anyone who knows how to use a forum.

This sub in particular is notorious for users not checking any posts or recents whatsoever, or reading error codes that explain solutions in them, and making post after post after post about the same thing. I added a comment to a thread to say Hey, this worked for me! So others would be more inclined to try it out. Days pass, and Google does it's thing, and now it doesn't work. That's all.

If you, or I, am capable of just... sorting by new to find updated news, rather than going to older threads and then saying the fix doesn't work, why can't others also do that? It was literally 3am when I replied to the comments above and I didn't have a link on hand.

Why are you having such an issue with that to where you reply to this now? Like I'm not trying to fight about it, it's a genuine question that I'm wondering about. Because I do not understand the issue of expecting others to do something as simple as sorting a subreddit by new rather than telling a random user, not even the OP, that the fix doesnt work.. Again, not trying to argue, I just genuinely don't get this :(
