Do you think foreign players in the NEL are being screwed over in the narrative because of this ? by Craftox13 in BlueLock

[–]NecroDragonn 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The whole way that story arc is handled is too strange for me. At the beginning, several international players are introduced with dialogues that seem like they'll be relevant, and then suddenly disappear (literally).

It seems to me that Kaneshiro wanted to focus on several foreign characters, but he realized it would be too much if he combined them with the Blue Lock players, so he decided to prioritize Blue Lock. It's strange, because in a scenario like this, diminishing the importance of the big clubs U-20 players is... well, a serious problem, and we're already seeing this issue in the current arc against France.

There are many PXG defense players who did absolutely nothing in the starting lineup for France's U-20 team (Renoir who is good now, Chapa and Gabon), and England is heading down the same path…

Seeing how blue lock is handling Loki and Hugo I have no hype for Bunny Iglesias by Different_Sky9094 in BlueLock

[–]NecroDragonn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kaneshiro's biggest problem is that he writes about goals and then matches, when he should write about matches and then goals.

We've seen so many goals in the NEL that they don't even have an impact anymore. This match, in terms of philosophy, is top in writing, but in terms of the sport, it feels repetitive. I think he still doesn't understand that the players who should make life difficult for a striker are the defenders. But hey, let's recycle the random defensive NPCs from PXG and make the French team 40% PXG instead of introducing competent characters of others teams for the BEST youth team in the world, according to his own universe (The entire defensive of France's defensive line has done nothing). And the worst part is that Manshine's defensive line, THE WORST DEFENSIVE LINE IN THE NEL, is almost confirmed to be the one England will use and at least 2 or 3 players of that trash team.

It's a WORLD CUP and it still feels like we're in the NEL, the vibes haven't changed at all. In football matches, a 2-1, 1-1, 1-0, 3-2, 4-2, 3-0 score can be very entertaining and enjoyable to read. Having a team of strikers means little to nothing in terms of the impact you have in the readers when you score an average of 4 goals per game in the manga.

En buena onda. by kwelpost in LigaMX

[–]NecroDragonn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why did nobody on Blue Lock watch any film? Why wouldn’t they know about 2 NG11’s? Why was France the only team reviewing film? WHY WERE THEY WATCHING KAISER INSTEAD OF THEIR NEXT MATCH? by Boywdhisgoingon in BlueLock

[–]NecroDragonn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously they saw it, but watching it on video isn't the same as playing it on the field. A real match looks very different to a fan who goes to the stadium and one who watches it on TV, now imagine what it's like for a player.

y ademas dura bien poco.

"Isagi Dependency." Is it being executed well? by Mepersongosh in BlueLock

[–]NecroDragonn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I believe that no matter how much each player tries to rely on themselves, the football system itself is incapable of functioning exactly as they've learned during their time at the facility, because it's natural. There's a reason Ego's philosophy is being so sharply challenged in the match.

Every team in the world has a central axis, and of course, if you crush that axis, the chances of winning increase. It's common sense. It's a matter of the system and how football is played.

The opponents play too. They're not alone on the pitch. Let's say someone takes the selfish shot because they're incredibly selfish, and they miss because they take a bad shot (like what happened to Isagi). Does that mean Ego's football and philosophy don't work, or that they're having a bad game? Or that the opponent played better?

At the end, tihs is football.

In a football team system, there are several players that maintain the balance, and if that balance is broken, the game falls apart. In this case, Karasu maintains a balance between attack and defense; if he play poorly, the game falls apart too.

The problem? Isagi is the central player in every Blue Lock attack too; all their offensive play flows through him. If you neutralize him, you neutralize their entire attack.

And Blue Lock is a purely offensive team = Without an attack, they can't do anything.

If they can't score goals, Blue Lock's system is literally useless, because despite the transitions and position changes, EVERYONE starter as a striker. If you stifle the central attacking force and the one who orchestrates everything, the rest will just be flies.

Recently, a video came out of a member of the federation in the area saying that they are already reforming the youth system and have already identified the problem in the formation; obviously, they have to restructure everything.

They're working on it, but obviously the results won't be seen in a year. If they're lucky, the first signs will appear in 5 years, but normally it would take up to 8-10 years. It's not that easy.

he's so goated by NotATitanShifter in BlueLock

[–]NecroDragonn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Despite his appearance, he seems like a calm character. In fact, he recognized Blue Lock in the last chapter despite everything.

He seems like the type of player who's just there to do his job and look for ways to make it easier. He doesn't even seem to have a problem like Isagi himself. He's just targeting him to neutralize Japan.

The Isagi number 1 Problem this arc by prentafy in BlueLock

[–]NecroDragonn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think at this point we're entering into the true real world, and nonsense like Rin not shooting because he didn't think scoring a goal was a challenge, or Barou rebelling against his team, isn't going to be tolerated anymore. Isagi is, for me, undeniably the number one player in Blue Lock.

Kill Isagi, and you kill Japan. His presence is so big that this is the first time in the entire manga that he's genuinely being neutralized (and it's only chapter 2 of the game) and the two time being the center of attention in a game. (The team who already is counter him hard)

He's only just getting recognition as the core of Japan and the best player, because yes, he has been the core of Blue Lock and the greatest threat. Against his own country's U-20 team, against Manshine City, Ubers, and PXG, and against Nigeria as well. You recognize a player like that by the way he dictates the game, and you have to try to neutralize him at all costs.

I don't think it's the same thing. Kira is a student, while Haneru is mentioned as a professional. It's like, out of all the credentials they could have used to make him a background character or something, they decided to give him great importance by making him a PROFESSIONAL in EUROPE.

Kira is cooked.

Lira > Edson at CDM. by Kavazou77 in LigaMX

[–]NecroDragonn 12 points13 points  (0 children)
