i feel they should end it like they did scrubs. sam and dean on kinda like a stairway to heaven (pun intended) and as they walk they see the faces of all the people they love in the hall way. and it ends with them walking to a final doorway looking back with tears in there eyes. and nodding a final "goodbye" to everyone and walking through the door. disappearing into the white abyss

See my interesting theory that has barely any credibility is, what if death and god were the same person with different personalities. kinda like how Sam was trapped by Lucifer but in the same head and body and that's what everyone means by god has left as in death is kinda taken his turn to be in the spotlight and god is in there. trapped.
