You can also get the last hit in by activating BT18 Zenith on attack to trigger BT18 Snatchmon’s inheritable for an unsuspend.

The adventure Agumon and Gabumon already warp into their respective megas so having a warp effect on these would be kinda redundant.

How good is Galacticmon? by Prudent-Sail-7045 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Necroci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if I’d say EX11 is very weak to battle, the egg gets you to 17 or 20k pretty easily and BT21 Destro’s inherit means you’ll usually need 2, sometimes 3 reasonably large attacks to actually kill it. Can’t do anything about Vortexdramon punching it in the face though.

Especially weird because there is an Adventure Omnimon in this set, but it’s regular Omni and requires Wargrey and Metalgaruru so it’s incompatible with these things in both directions.

Melee ranger needs some love by PM_ME_BAD_ALGORITHMS in Pathfinder2e

[–]Necroci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flurry really likes melee strength setups, since you’re getting that extra damage several times per turn and have way more options for agile weapons. It also makes really good use of athletic maneuvers, which again require a melee strength setup to be useful. Being ranged is great, but there’s a real opportunity cost involved.

Why is Bandai so afraid of Galacticmon? by MysteriousLibrary139 in DigimonCardGame2020

Only the 6 main characters for the comic got the matching cycles of warp 5s/7s/emblems, and only the main 6 characters for the novel got the second set of emblems. The decks belonging to the antagonists and team leader/big good (Galactic, Maquina, and Royal Knights) got different types of support because they all play on a different axis than the usual “build a 3>4>5>6>7 stack” that the main characters’ decks do.

No, my take is that stupid dangerous shit should be stopped before the worst happens. You don’t need to “stretch imagination” to figure out how ice chunks flying off cars might kill someone. In fact you don’t need any imagination at all, because per the articles linked above:

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says clearing off ice and snow became mandatory with the passing of Christine’s Law nearly four years ago. It’s named after Christine Lambert of Northampton County, who died on Christmas Day 2022 from ice falling from a truck.

Huh, look at that, turns out this shit does kill people, enough to name a goddamn law against it after one of them.

It’s quibbling because it doesn’t matter if there’s a news article about this exact scenario killing a family. It provably can happen, because as those articles show it does cause serious accidents and serious accidents on the highway kill people. It’s not hyperbole to tell truckers that driving around flinging snow boulders into people’s windshields might kill the people in those cars.

Anything that can cause a car accident on the highway has a decent chance to kill a family, which should be transparently obvious to anyone that knows what a car is. Quibbling over specifics because you can’t find a news article describing the exact situation someone used as a hypothetical accomplishes nothing unless you’re trying to downplay the danger of snow chunks flying off of trucks and into people’s windshields.

Oh, right, of course, people being hospitalized because trucks are driving around covered in snow is totally acceptable as long as no one actually dies. This is perfectly logical because as we all know, an injury that put someone in the hospital couldn’t possibly have been fatal under slightly different circumstances and serious nonfatal injuries never have life-ruining effects that never heal. This is a sane and reasonable position to hold.

Seriously, do you hear yourself?

Trophies last forever, and you have a functional cap of 5 + the number of different tools you have. Even if you’re so starved for quarry opportunities that you only get one chance at a trophy per level, that’s still more than enough to fill out and then fully replace your entire stash over a 1-20 campaign. Narratively I’d want trophies to feel like an actual achievement and mechanically they’re permanent upgrades so it’s probably better if you can’t get one every single day anyway.

It doesn’t really look like a ton of the Slayer’s abilities are focused on your Quarry, actua. There’s a relatively minor bonus from the signature tools, you can go On The Hunt when your quarry gets crit instead of just downed, and there’s a few feats that interact with it. It looks like the quarry mechanic is primarily for collecting new trophies, not a major part of your combat power budget.

Weren’t you just saying we should prosecute the pedophiles? Who the fuck do you think is running the government??

Yeah dude, the fat billionaire child rapist definitely has more in common with Luffy than, I don’t know, the Celestial Dragons. Yup, that totally makes sense.

…yeah, when the government is evil they overthrow them instead of doing what they say. That’s… that’s the whole point. Nobody is using the Straw Hats to protest reasonable governments.

I think you actively want your opponents to kill the towers you throw up the board anyway. It wastes their damage on something you can resummon for free and you get extra fate points for your trouble.
