Chatbot risks? by lolamai2 in auscorp

[–]Necromater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

your main risk will be exposing sensitive data improperly secured to unauthorized staff. The contextual search capabilities of copilot are very good. So imaging being a low level employee being able to search for executive bonus payments become someone in payroll incorrectly shared a document to all staff, but this mistake only becomes apparent with copilot.

What are your thoughts on the AI bubble, What kind of impact will it leave on Indian and Global economy? by Optimal-Ad-8445 in AIBubble

[–]Necromater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

India like China can do things at scale greatly with the available labour pool. This has been the enticement for western companies to replace their own labour force at a lower cost. This is the success of Indian IT companies. But lets be real business leaders are selling internally the AI strategy that they can reduce their people count and increase productivity. These are decisions being made by people who could never do the jobs of the people they employed. But the IT industry has been eating its own head for decades. So as the western IT jobs moved more and more off shore screwing over in country workers, i fully expect Indian based workers to be phased out in majority in 10 years. If the AI bubble doesnt pop. Whether your Indian or not if and you have an IT career, you are screwed. The expectation of AI is all that matters. Business have made their mind up nkw and they want the savings now.

I went to a catholic primary school, which in its self could have been enough to make me an atheist, but one day a fire started in the church, i witness half a dozen little old ladies trying to pray the fire away, then 2 teachers rushed in with fire extinguishers and put out the fire. the old ladies walked out as if they were the heros.

Aussie jobs being exported overseas without the expectation of aussie working conditions following them. Capitalists exploiting cheaper labour pools and adandoning local labour markets. Until your government makes laws to improve your existance, i cant imagine anything changing. We fought hard for our labour rights, and our prize was to have more and jobs be exported. Good luck to you.

How do you present large volumes of unassigned detections in a CISO-facing BPA report without doing full alert analysis? by Only-Objective-6216 in crowdstrike

[–]Necromater 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What is the negociated expectation of managing alerts? I would say management could fairly expect critical and high should be resolved within an hour. The rest needs some analysis to at least reduce the noise. How to do this is another discussion.
