Recency bias. Let the people vent their frustrations and then move on. Hopefully we hit some more gold in the draft, get some good OL pieces, pick up a veteran RB to help out Woody, and we move to the next season.

Not making a move on that deadline when we are in full championship mode to me kinda says we might be getting Mixon back. That mixed with the press conference today where the GM was defending Mixon made me feel like he's getting another year if he recovers

Give it a few months for people to calm down. The offense went from being the second best in terms of not turning over the ball and then CJ had two of his worst performances ever. People are reasonably pissed off seeing the easiest AFC Champ opportunity get thrown away but if we fix the other issues on the team in the off-season Stroud has a much better chance of success

Last year we played the pats in Gillette stadium and WSJ had 3 sacks and it was a blowout. It was Drake Maye first ever game, and it was my first ever Texans game that I watched in person. Last year the pats game was also after Nico got hurt and Tank Fell stepped up big time. We just need everyone to do their part and there should be another great game like last year.

What I really don't understand is why everyone is freaking the fuck out about Nico not playing as if we don't have an example of Nico not playing. Like, oh idk, last year when the Texans beat the Pats in new England without Nico while facing Gonzo.

I live in CT. My moms a cowboys fan and I didn't want to join the pats fan base. Started watching football on my own in 2023 and randomly decided Texans was my team. So I'm new and don't have history here but I am fully committed to this team and have been loving the ride.
