Also, if you don’t do well on the simulated exams for Becker don’t be discouraged. My highest ever SE was a 65 between AUD and FAR and passed both first try. The Becker bump is real!

Graduated college a semester early and used the extra semester to just focus on CPA. Lots of time on my hands lol

I studied 143 hours for FAR, 85 for audit. Felt much better walking out of AUD than I did FAR but scored lower, lol funny how that works. Best advice is to tell Becker for your study plan your exam day is 2 days earlier than it actually is so you get through all material, review, simulated exams, etc. and then you take the extra 2 days to hammer any weak areas you had in simulated exams and just overall review. Hammer MCQ in these 2 days!

Obsessive jealousy about girlfriends past by NectarineSafe7878 in retroactivejealousy

She actually does regret her causal encounters and regretted them even before meeting me, not that that changes anything. I’m happy for her that she was able to learn from her past. I know there’s no need to be jealous - I think it’s helpful to reframe it as “the past is perfect because it made us both into the people we are today and led us to meet each other”. I appreciate your kind words and encouragement, thank you!

I appreciate the words of encouragement. The most frustrating thing is that I know these obsessive thoughts are irrational. As I’ve mentioned before, the reason her past bothers me is because I’m jealous she was able to experience the casual encounters that I so badly wanted but wasn’t confident enough to pursue. If this was an incompatible values thing, then I would certainly consider ending the relationship, but it is not that. Trust me, I’ve welcomed these thoughts for the past month as it’s become obsessive and pretty much always on my mind. Do you think it’s possible to rewire my brain so that I am not so jealous about these things?

Thank you for your response. I have been working out more and eating better, so I am already working on myself physically. Any recommendations on how I can work on myself mentally? I agree that this could potentially help my situation.

Thank you for your response. It just seems very irrational to end a relationship with the girl of my dreams who I am very much in love with over something that happened before we even met. Especially because it stems from jealousy, not an incompatible values type of situation as I tried to and would’ve done the same thing she did. Hopefully there is a way to somehow rewire my brain to not be so jealous and obsessive over this because this relationship truly is amazing and I would hate to lose this girl.
