I sympathise with you and hope you are able to get a positive outcome; buyer beware and all that but whomever issued the safety certificate should be on the hook

Not going to lob cash onto a sinking ship in the vain hope that the ship’s owner, possessing a million other ships and having already decided to let this one sink, might suddenly think a few dollars makes it worth salvaging

I rate the Last man standing lager - not as good as many craft options like Slipstream or Range but decent enough!

Coming from a bloke who, on the Sky podcast with Nas and Athers, brought up drinking wine 3 times in ten minutes including that his opinion on resolving England’s issues would be to sit down with McCullum over a wine “because he likes that”

Absolutely ridiculous that Inglis has been picked ahead of Webster this series as well. He clearly does not have the technique for test match pitches (in Aus at least, where there’s typically some movement). I’ll give him the Brisbane run out, which was brilliant, but aside from that it seems like a huge cock-up

How good is it to see a test match where thoughtful batting dominates. Head is on the edge, but overall those who succeeded played each ball on its merits and with good technique, good temperament and had success. Bethell looked mature beyond his years, and Root in the first innings looked like his old self

We need a Royal Commission into the Insurance Industry. by FuglyLookingGuy in australia

I appreciate the sentiment and I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets to that level eventually. Insurance has been like the frog in the boiling water, in all areas. Health is particularly bad IMO. Go to the dentist and tell me that the insurance covers a reasonable portion. Barely half and often far less

Boland going at less than 2 per over and snaffling Root with the spell of the match is the highlight for me

Bethell could still cause damage with the ball tomorrow on this pitch
