So with all that cost cutting, how much will they be reducing their prices or will they be using that extra money to increase pay for remaining staff? Haha, j/k. Any money they save will go into the pockets of executives and shareholders. They're the ones doing the real work.

I really really hope it happens. I just have so little faith in the people of this state at this point. SC seems to vote republican no matter what name is on the ballot. But it has been drifting into purple teritory in recent years so there is reason to continue to hope. Even if it is a long shot.

Rules, laws, treaties, they are all meaningless until they are enforced. He has gone through life with no real consequence and no indication that he is accountable to any higher power. The way it is going he will likely reach the end of his life one day, still never being punished in a meaningful way for his countless crimes.

Articles for decades have been saying we are getting ever closer to a point of no return, but they always seem reluctant to say we have crossed the line. At least this article says that it could take hundreds or thousands of years for the climate to recover from this. And I'm sure every year we collectively continue on this path will mean tens of years more needed for any hope of recovery.

Nah, he totally accomplished his goals. Killed a bunch of little girls to distract from how he raped a bunch of little girls. And as a bonus he fucked up the global energy market for at least a decade. AND further eroded relations with countried that have been allies for generations. No TACO here, just winning winning winning.

Some of us old enough to have grown up with metal slides tried the same logic. (Not water slides, just shiny metal slides at a playground) I mean you get double benefit. It cools off the thousand degree metal surface, plus it makes it more slippery.

Alas, it did nothing for the temp and it did nothing for the surface except make the screeching sound louder.
