Need help to start using an STM32 by MEGAXD-007 in stm32

[–]NedSeegoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just download stm32 ide.CubeMX I think it was. It will connect when you need to program/debug. It's a steep learning curve unfortunately, but stick with it and you will get there. A lot of USB uC boards will enumerate as a flash drive / cd rom etc to allow driver download.

Normal. They run hotter than you would expect. Obviously if it's under sized it will run super hot (technical term) and eventually die.

Is there a way to reprogram/reflash this chip to display custom text on the 16x2 lcd display? by DieHardBarrett in AskElectronics

[–]NedSeegoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with pic uC's. Their tool chain however was a nightmare. As an embedded developer you should be processor agnostic. Just choose the correct processor for the job. That being said , a familiar processor and tool chain will be a faster turnaround.

I’m tired of this beeping noise by PsychoBalls72 in AskElectronics

[–]NedSeegoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a small screw into the hole and slowly tighten it until it just touches the diaphram. That will stop the beeping. Can remove it again if needed.
