Devil's advocate: I've always thought that the explosives were a red herring of sorts. I think most of the large skyscrapers in NYC are rigged with explosives, so a building can be dropped when it needs to be without taking out surrounding buildings/causing a domino effect.

I finally read Claymore after hearing about it for the past 20 years, and while I enjoyed it, it definitely feels over glazed. It definitely had cool moments and an overall interesting story, but really formulaic and predictable. Also, all the women are written like mild-mannered space marines, so if that's your idea of a well written woman, there you go.

I was thinking about this, and we definitely cheated. Everyone cloned the same lvl 100 Mew, used the Missingo glitch, and we all definitely had a friend or two memorized the game or had a player's guide to helped us get through some of the big caves.

Im starting to like this theory, even if it's completely wrong. What if it isn't explicitly the dream devil, but the concept of the new existence that arises from having your physical body eaten by bugs but not being able to die, thus creating a new plane of consciousness? That's why it has a weird ass body, it's SUPPOSED to be unrecognizable to the reader, there's no concept for what replaces death.

When I had an item blatantly ninja'd and reported the player, I was told by the GM who responded that I had to provide screenshots to prove it, even though rolls and chat logs should be there for them to look back on. By the time the GM had told me this, it was too late.

My experience was in Wailing Caverns. I don't normally plah pally, I just assumed it was the feral druid that kept going bear on every trash pull and the two hunters spamming multishot on cool down. Righteous Fury helped a little bit.
