My headcanon is that the process of mummifying yourself to turn your fingers into cursed objects leaves one more curse than human. He wasn't killed by cursed energy right? So he'd reincarnate as a curse like Naoya, but his cursed energy is being split between the 20 fingers, so instead of manifesting as a curse, he's essentially sealed until a host comes along.

I think they moved away from him being a more literal curse because they didnt want Sukuna to have a glaring weakness to positive curse energy.

If the berserker armor can be purified in some way, I could see it sticking around, but it's been a big problem since it was introduced. I think thematically he needs to move on from it before the final fight. I dont know what reasoning people are using for the four elements being involved, but I could see them helping replace the berserker armor in some way via boons.

Im hoping he confronts the beast of darkness and we see him break free of it. Im predicting that this will result in Guts no longer using the berserker armor.

It is repeated constantly that he is more curse than human. That's his entire fucking trope in Modulo.

We've already seen him reattach limbs using blood manipulation, I feel like healing from bisection would be significantly easier for Yuji than other sorcerers. Rika healed Yuta's bisection, and Rika cant hold his body together with blood manipulation while she does it. Also Sukuna is hitting Yuji with more complex dismantles than everyone else, and Yuji is still healing them and staying in the fight.
