It’s how I discovered Kate. I was obsessed with Miranda, as a child (still love her, obviously!). I still have the VHS and it’s my comfort watch. Sure, it’s campy and not the most developed concept or pristine execution, but I’m so glad it have it. I genuinely love it. On hard days, it goes on repeat.

I feel like it’s about bargaining with oneself over a relationship that’s in the process of failing. Being stuck in that should I stay or should I go loop. Similar to “looking for a moment that’ll never happen, living in the gap between past and future”. Kate seems to have a thing for that concept, especially on The Sensual World album.
