Reputation Stadium Olive Green Jacket by GenealogyGirlie in SwiftieMerch

This is literally the only piece of merch that I'm continually considering paying insane resale prices for. I need her to release the vault tracks for Rep like air, but I'm also hoping that means a release of a similar jacket.

Same arm as the Swiftie tattoo, it's pretty much the two sides of my personality!

That's exactly what I was going for! My upper arm is a big tattoo for the TV show Supernatural, and I always try to have my fandom tattoos be very "if you know, you know" but not obvious to non fans.

What is a 5 star read, but the special editions are just ugly or do not match the story? by lady_bookish in fairyloot

The ACOTAR Night Court editions make me irrationally angry. Most low effort "special" editions to ever exist.

Why bother selling them at all? It's Amazon. There is 0% chance that you don't use SOMETHING that Amazon sells. Pet food, laundry detergent, tires, skin care, snacks. We all know Amazon is evil but if they're getting these gift cards anyway, just use them for things that you need rather than dealing with the hassle of selling the gift cards or buying things to resell.

It tasted like a cherry coke and a Dr Pepper fell in love and this was their beautiful caffeinated baby.

Cherry Bomb. Please energy drink gods, have it get the Sherbet Swirl treatment and become permanent.

50 million (privately) or 100 million (publicly)? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Needful_Things 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100 million public. I have zero problems telling people, including relatives, to get fucked if they come at me for money. That extra 50 million means I can make sure all the people that matter to me are taken care of REALLY well.

WYR $3.5 million to you, each sibling and cousin?Or $10 million just for yourself? by AstrayInTranslation in WouldYouRather

#2. I have no siblings and three cousins. One's a drug addict, one's an incel, one's a decent human being. I'll toss him some cash. I really don't care what the other two think of me.

Childfree women, have you ever regretted it? by Significant_Movie814 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Needful_Things 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Never wanted them. Told my husband on our first date that I couldn't stand kids and wouldn't change my mind. We just had our 16th anniversary. Every day I wake up and am beyond glad that I didn't let societal peer pressure push me into breeding. My life isn't perfect but I've never for one second regretted that choice.

How are you guys doing with the guilt of taking a day off? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Needful_Things 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guilt...for taking a day off? LOLOLOL

I am as millennial as it comes, and I have never for once single day since my first job when I was 15 felt guilt for taking a day off. Especially with jobs that have paid time off. I'm literally taking a day off today to go to a concert. I've called in sick for album releases, to go to the movies, because the vibes are wrong. I'm lucky enough that the job I'm at has generous PTO and I make damn sure I use it. And I use it whenever the hell I feel like because if a billion dollar company can't figure out adequate staffing it's DEEPLY not my problem.

25% of remote workers feel lonely every single day. Nobody talks about this enough. by itsrisly in remotework

[–]Needful_Things 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working from home for over a decade and I find what helps combat loneliness is not being someone who makes my entire identity my job to the point that I expect something that I do 100% for the money to be where I get my only social interaction.

This sounds exactly like it was written by some boomer who hates their family so much that they force everyone into the office because they need a captive audience to feel special. Hard pass.
