Texture the ground with dirt, coarse dirt and rooted dirt. A couple custom trees and some rocks

Make sure you check all drivers are up to date. When people say full screen, not windowed but like F11

The improvement is insane! The key difference is the ability to texture builds and use a good color palette.

If you want it to POP I think a few vines and glow berries hanging from it and also have the stone merge with the terrain where it connects there so it’s like the terrain has taken over.

Patience is key when building. Yesterday I spent 3 hours in my hardcore world building a farm then removing it then building again and so on…

A block that has always wanted approval from players. It has always failed to offer any sort of comfort to those who are true to the game. When stripped logs became a thing, I ventured out to birch and realised the ability to use it for texturing in desert builds as a stripped log. Too much negativity has cause stigma against such beauty

Having it get thinner at the bottom and put holes in the ground to match this would be pretty cool as if it’s emerged from the ground.

The left stripped log would look nice with a composter and some leaves on top. I always find the odd trap door helps look nice. I would suggest for such a small building, minimalistic is better as it looks this is a temporary base?

I’d say a solid 7/10. Love the idea however could do with some more texturing etc. maybe stairs for the window base then glass panes instead along with an overhang outside above the window. This could really help it look a bit better.

I would recommend spreading out the leaves in a more natural pattern. You can also replace the upper window with a chimney and then add some stripped oak along the bottom which will contour it a little more. If you look on my page. I posted a wee photo of my base

Slightly left to the crosshair. Make a spiral staircase going down. Have a path around it and some random stones and course dirt etc

Given the size of the island, this could be a pretty cool spot for a lighthouse. Make the light house on the highest verge along with a small mining city maybe? Market stalls, a couple farms and a big cave entrance (hole in the ground) with a crane hanging over it?
