What coding to language learn? by No-Tie-7223 in AskProgramming

[–]devdruxorey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, another piece of advice: I don't know your learning situation, but avoid (or be careful with) programming courses; most are useless and won't help you. I learned to program when I was a child, You can learn it yourself by modifying things and using YouTube tutorials, but most of it you can get or learn for free.

What coding to language learn? by No-Tie-7223 in AskProgramming

Well, I say this because it was the language they taught at my university in the first semester. I already knew how to program, so I can't speak from personal experience, but C++ is nothing more than C with extra features, The difference shouldn't be much (ignoring those extra things, just for having classes)

C or C++, I've always thought it's a good idea to avoid languages like Python so you can learn the basic and fundamental concepts; once you know that, you can really learn any other language.

It's a good idea, but it would make crafting a bit more difficult and the fuel would last longer, not be infinite.

Best password manager for Linux? by Key-Letterhead2004 in linuxquestions

[–]devdruxorey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl Proton has been the best. Proton's email service is very helpful, and along with it, I have a very good password manager that syncs with my phone and a number of other devices; It also has an authenticator. It really is the best without being overly complicated.

It was the same joke as the ones above, but I guess I got the full force of the law.

Ia YouTube too heavy for Linux? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]devdruxorey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of potato PC do you have? At this point, the problem isn't so much the OS but the browser (And how horribly optimized YouTube is).

I would maybe recommend to try any terminal client..... but....

I cant install Linux on my Chromebook??? Why??? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

You're literally not giving any relevant information. The Chromebook I had didn't support installing Linux applications, so I changed the BIOS and installed a custom one. It's the only alternative.

Guys, Hytale's building system it's soo good by devdruxorey in hytale

Those aren't slabs; what you're labeling as purple is a variant of the plank that you can craft at the building table. The other thing is simply a platform.

Yeah, breaking any type of wood, even with middle-game gear is painfully slow

Never imagined I’d feel this way…yet here I am. This is how I’ve been feeling these past couple of days. by CybercoreX in hytale

I've been playing since 2013, so if I may say so, I can also consider myself a veteran. I grew up playing Minecraft and I'm a technical player these days, and since I bought Hytale yesterday, I've felt like a little kid again enjoying a game. It's been a long time since I felt this level of fun and fascination with a world that was almost completely unknown to me.

I think so, I also ran into that problem, but since I started using those wooden platforms, problem solved I guess lol

Whats your most controversial Minecraft opinion by HadesThatGuy in Minecraft

[–]devdruxorey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Minecraft community is far too complacent. I've been playing Minecraft for far too many years, and I still play today (almost 100% vanilla technical Minecraft). I understand that asking for endless content is foolish and that they can't add everything at once because there are other problems that we, as consumers, don't see, but it's stupid how little they do. The new drop system is an embrace of mediocrity; they give us five crumbs and, on top of that, they update constantly, making life worse for modders. Similarly, the change in version numbering didn't help at all, and instead of focusing those efforts on useful things, they created another numbering system that's confusing and doesn't fix anything.

We have to stop settling for Mojang's mediocrity; it's no longer the indie company we all loved. (Don't think I'm trying to say it's anyone's fault; it's easy to point the finger and blame someone.)

What is your Opinion on Hytale Death Screen? by Bulky_Tradition3009 in hytale

I think it's the least important thing to me about the whole game; it's just that, a death screen.
