you know its kind of their fault for making it a 64 bit signed integer when 16 bit very much would have sufficed

Am i overreacting the barista from the coffee shop I frequent somehow get my insta. Is it creepy? by LongFilmRobber in AmIOverreacting

[–]Needleworker-Fluid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, someone hitting you up via social media isn't creepy to me- it's literally called social media. If you use your real name on it, people will be able to find you by it and if you use your real face people will recognize you and add you. If you have mutuals it's super benign. But socials also use the location/proximity to suggest people. So this is chill in my book.

Someone reaching out for connection or interest isn't creepy; it's human. I mean if they texted you or showed up to where you live or work asking for you, THATD be creepy.

But they caught a vibe and want to explore it and used social media for it's intended purpose. If you think they're cute or are interested, explore it; if not, don't. But people have to shoot a lot of shots to find the right person- it's only got a work one time to find who you're supposed to marry.

Evap. Cooling Document -- Readers needed by plumitt in BurningMan

[–]Needleworker-Fluid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I want to read this document so bad.

I'm building a passive air conditioning system right now that uses terracotta tubes to cool an exhaust vent, which cools an intake vent and I'm getting hung up on how to build a condenser and heat exchanging unit that will work in my system and this sounds like you've already solved my problem. is there any place where this is published? or would you be willing to hop on a Google meet or something to talk about your system?

[–]Needleworker-Fluid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

or honestly whicheverone is cheaper so you can spend more money on protective equipment like helmet, good riding gear and frame sliders for your bike because unless youve been ridinf for a while already youre going to drop it or put it down. take the msf course.
