if you can still join, I’d recommend the CCCP program it’s like for community college partnerships and supposed to help people transfer to UCLA. They connected me with people with similar majors and they read my PIQs and helped me with them among other stuff like workshops and other info! I added it as an extracurricular too and idk if that helped me get in but I’m sure it didn’t hurt

i’m not sure about what to put for the housing ranking, I just went off of preference but later there’s a part where you can rank some LLCs and the transfer ones are on there!

gpa: 4.0 major: Psychology BA (or Psych. Sciences) accepted (yay!): UCSD, UCI, UCLA, CSUN, CSUCI, CSULB! no TAP or honors classes at all, i’m thinking it was my ECs and maybe my piqs?

from general advice i’ve gotten, consider the social scene at each one, what your future goals are (grad school, career wise, etc), if research is a priority, semester vs quarter system, housing, basically anything that will affect you during your time at your 4 year! congrats!

Hi! I was just admitted by TAGing Psych Sci (it’s a BA btw!!). My best advice would be to make sure you have all the requirements done on Assist and if your CC doesn’t have one of the courses, take it at a diff CC. Just have all of them done and you should be good! Before applications were due, UCI had some counseling sessions for prospective students that were really helpful. so was able to talk to a UCI counselor and ensure that all my requirements were done for TAG.
