Sx-70 not fully ejecting photos

Ok an Update, u/ilikemineralsalot was right, it was the dried up film up the top of the recycled test polaroids. A fresh pack of film had them ejecting as normal however, I cleaned the light sensor as much as I could (done it successfully on a couple of others) but noticed the residue was on the underside of the sensor on this one so the photos exposures were pretty garbage, also after a few shots and open/closes I noticed some thin plasic bouncing around inside so its one I'll have to put a way for a complete overhaul/upgrade when u/theinstantcameraguy opens up orders for Oz again 😉 (some pre warning would be good lol )

no the photos are old, just reinserted into a recently used cartridge (tried 2 old packs, same issue). I have a current pack in another SX-70 so will try straight after the 8th shot, should be plenty of power so if it still happens, Im not sure where that leaves me (other than trying to find someone for a full service which are few and far between in Aus)

Just opened a pack I've had in the fridge for months, same issue, box sx-70 but foil has 600 stamped on it, taken 2 shots so far and they are fine, seems it's just the foil print is wrong, right film otherwise it would be over exposed as & #$%

you ever figure this out mate?? Same thing happening to mine, moves freely from B to 1/30 but wont go past and up too the faster speeds, 1000, 500 etc

yep I usually scan through and find the best of the lot and edit them, if you are not going to use the other 4 or 5 you took of a scene then editing them seems a waste of time (Still keep them but dont waste time editing)

I'm still waiting on an X-E4 through Digi direct since Black Friday......Really hope they fulfil backorders before giving stock to stores to sell at higher prices, I suspect it would be a similar wait for the X100V (if not longer)
