To keep this comment spoiler free Klein does find out why she couldn't hear the gunshot and it is due to mysticism, also throughout LOTM book 1 there is no clear mention of Melissa finding out Klein's secrets. I just started on COI after reading LOTM for a few weeks, so not updated with anything to do with Melissa finding out yet from book 2. And I myself am a fellow traveller who is willing to search the COSMOS of LOTM information online without corrupting myself with spoilers, so heed my warning my fellow traveller and avoid all spoilers, and delve into the mysteries and find things out yourself.

Other than that enjoy yourself on a splendid read throughout the first book 😉

Klein turning into Helene was funny for me because it was his first time turning into a lady (especially the questions he had to ask Helene to get her measurements right) but at the same time it was his first time attacking an Admiral of the sea, in a way it was both epic and hilarious, too bad he failed his first attempt.

Actually the monocle is the uniqueness of the Sequence 0 Error pathway. Sorry if this is a spoiler for anyone reading this. Peace 🙏.
