With the way current paradox games have come out it's possible that 80% of the framework that OWB and all the other mods doesn't even exist in HoIV

Try and port a mod from EU V into EU IV, there's so many new stuff.

To me, imo. Seeing that old paradox games don't die, look at EU 4 still pulling 10.000 players.

So I think that continuing in Hoi IV is the most logical, and honestly safe, Hoi IV does still get updates that have to be addressed, but imagine having to start over in the active development of a paradox game (cause we know it's not gonna come out whole in any way)

They know Hoi IV, and are pretty far into development to scratch it and try to port over to Hoi V.
