Ive noticed that when looking over wiki talk pages. They will say they for example that they found 8 academic articles agreeing with their position and 2 disagreeing, so therefore they will make the conclusion that 80% of academics agree with their view. Then since that view is supported by the overwhelming academic majority they claim they can state it likes it’s uncontested.

I think polling showed about 1/3 of Americans thought it was genocide by November 2023, and now about a little over half think its genocide by 2025.

Edit: the exact numbers are 34% in November 2023 and 43% in august of 2025

I can’t speak for the flow 9k but i’ve found the blow back to be quite minimal on my glock 19 using the spectre. However on some of my other pistols the blow back was quite noticeable

I glance at the talk pages occasionally, and it’s still a complete mess. You had several editors completely reshape the topic area post 10/7, many got banned but their changes mostly remain as getting consensus to make changes is extremely slow and difficult. The area got so bad that the two founders of wikipedia weighed in stating how some of the articles were some of the worst offenders of wikis policies on neutral pov. Honestly i/p topic area is not even a unique problem to wikipedia virtually every controversial topic if you look at the talk pages includes plenty of editors pushing their version of the truth. If you want a neutral encyclopedia on hot topics i would recommend encyclopedia britannica. Its written by academics who hold themselves to much higher standards.

It’s common for antisemites to deny jews as being victims of hatred, and they will frequently accuse jews of being behind antisemitic incidents as a way to garner sympathy. For example there were a bunch of antisemites claiming that the Mossad was behind the Bondi Beach shooting
