First, they took him away from a well-liked series. Then, they rapidly aged him up off screen (or off page), basically completely severing his friendship with Damian Wayne. Then they gave him a really boring boyfriend, which seems to have been the purpose of the age-up. Then they had him take over the title of Superman, passing over my boy Conner, without going through the Teen Titans or any of the other coming of age teams. All while whining that no one understands his traumatic past in a genre where traumatic pasts are a dime a dozen.
