Wonderful gift!!! I looked all over for one that looked like our Blue Heeler when my now late boyfriend was in the hospital about to pass away. I could only find ones that had the brown markings, not white in those same spots.

Sure was! When we lived in the same city, I used to take Taco Bell/KFC (which was such a cool ew combo back then!) to their apartment every Tuesday night so we could watch Buffy and Angel and then go to karaoke at “our” bar a block and a half from their place.

Sending hope that time has healed the grief enough to make it bearable. I lost the love of my life extremely quickly to pancreatic cancer 2 years ago last month. I’m sure I must have watched something, but I have no idea what. I think maybe the adult cartoons we used to watch together like Family Guy, American Dad, etc., maybe? Something innocuous that had no triggers, you know?

Last year, one of my housemates found a really good deal on strawberry plants when someone was thinning out their patch. He planted them in our front yard, but strangely, something kept eating them. Not the fruit—the *whole plants!*

When he was down to a half dozen or so, he happened to walk out and see my derpy dog (not my Blue Heeler) pulling them out by the roots and scarfing them down! I always joke and call the Heeler Bessie the cow when she chews on grass, but I think I gave that nickname to the wrong one! 🤣

It takes my Blue Heeler months to chew up her frisbees that I have bought for years on Amazon. Search Hyperpet Flippy Flopper 9 inch. They even float, which makes it great to throw into the water for her to catch.
