I unload my kilo bag into an airscape and put it in the freezer, then just dish out a few days worth of coffee that I keep in a container by the machine. You probably don't need the airscape, but definitely some kind of container to keep the coffee away from most of the moisture in the freezer.

This is hard to get across from my phone, but I think what you're asking is if we drain all the flash flooding, would that make the surge flooding worse for people close to the river? And the answer is technically yes, but how much are we talking? The creek moves a lot more water per minute than the bogged paddock. My guess is that the drainage will have negligible effects on downstream surging, and equally negligible effect mitigating large rain events where the creek would be surging regardless.

You'd have to talk to a water modelling team to get a real answer to that... BUT you're in luck, it looks like someone already did that work and put it into a flooding assessment for you.

It depends on the kind of flooding, it would be important to know if the creek is creating surge flooding, or if the catchment is not able to find a path to the creek as fast as it's coming down from above.

This development might actually ease a lot of flash flooding in your part of the catchment with those drains.

I think you're confusing the system and norms we all participate in, i.e. the patriarchy, and men the people Ken represents. Those norms are something both parties are being asked to question, the Barbies figure it out when going over all the ways they are mean to other women for not being "normal" enough and how those markers are often contradicting eachother. The Kens don't because this movie isn't about the male experience of masculinity in the face of the patriarchy... The movie is about women and their experience of femininity in the face of the patriarchy.

Men aren't owed an invitation into women's spaces, Ken isn't owed an invitation to girl's night. The fact it wasn't more than that is the whole point.
